03/05/2024: Kifune is a great way of approximating having a lunch in Japan, from the staff to the regulars ending by the menu it is the closest to Japan you could get whilst still in Paris. We had a great time coming for a second time (first was with Japanese friends). As non Japanese speakers, the staff was very helpful. One warning : book in advance as it is very sought after

28/04/2024: Very good place for a special occasion, the food is excellent, it's a very good immersion in Japanese cuisine. We took assortments of sushi, original and very fine. Be careful to specify to remove the wasabi inside the sushi for those who mind. The fruit liqueurs are also worth trying (plum for me), as well as the desserts: I highly recommend the black sesame panna cotta and the matcha mochi

11/03/2024: The food was lovely, nice small space with lots of atmosphere. The staff were really nice and spoke good English as we are limited speaking French! I had the truffle ravioli & pancetta spaghetti. Overall amazing dinner

21/03/2024: I live nearby and it's my favorite restaurant for sushi, whether it's takeaway or eating in, you're never disappointed. The portions are big and the sushi is good. It's not the best sushi restaurant of your life but certainly a safe bet

02/03/2024: Nous sommes assez surpris par les nombreux commentaires élogieux sur cet établissement. Le cadre est agréable, genre “bistrot chic”, comme ils se décrivent. Mais le reste, une cuisine italienne plutôt moyenne, n’est pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués. L’entrée d’artichauts crus citronnés s’apparente plutôt à du foin, les pâtes du cacio e pepe sont trop grosses, la piccata de veau al limon correcte et le tiramisu final très ordinaire. Quant au verre de Nero d’Avola très moyen à 12 euros, c’est franchement abusif. Le rapport qualité/prix n’y est pas. Il est peu probable que l’on revienne.

02/05/2024: The service was excellent and the ambience was nice, not too stuffy. The 4 course menu for lunch was very good. The only thing was that the portions were very small (no difference in start/main) and pretty much every dish came with some sauce poured on. The leek with chocolate sauce was a surprise hit. The main dish asparagus and cuttlefish didn’t quite live up to the expectations. It was overall a good experience with just a bit of shortcoming in the substance of main dishes. And the wines on expensive side for France.

28/04/2024: Excellent gastronomic restaurant, very original in its cuisine and its history with a demonstrated ecological desire. The dishes are very original. We had priced the food and non-alcoholic drinks pairing which introduced us to a truly perfect variation of chocolate for dessert. The cheeses presented in ice cream were also original, as were the snails. The service was also very friendly with the perfect mix of elegance and relaxation that really puts you at ease.

11/05/2024: Very nice surprise for a lunch with friends. A homemade restaurant with a regularly changing menu and vegetarian dishes! We are not inundated by too many choices and above all we enjoyed ourselves; well-filled plate and fresh seasonal juices! I recommend with my eyes closed!

11/03/2024: It’s simple, I could come and eat every day. The people who work here are extremely nice. The cuisine is very good, a mix of Japan and France and with quality products, you can smell it. The restaurant is quiet, it’s very pleasant. In short, I can only recommend eating at Tomi ❤️

04/03/2024: We have been going to this restaurant since it opened 15 years ago, and we have never been disappointed. The products are always fresh and well prepared, the atmosphere is friendly and the menu is varied. The family that runs the restaurant makes the effort to stay informed, try new recipes and find new products. We are therefore in a good restaurant, far above an ordinary sushi establishment, with the added bonus of an excellent quality/price ratio that you would not find on rue Saint Anne. Finally, the delivery service is fast and efficient. Edit: This comment is no longer valid following a change of ownership. The new version is correct, nothing more, with smaller portions for a higher price.

25/02/2024: Excellent Chinese cuisine. Chicken, shrimp, beef dishes and you choose your sauce. The spring rolls are delicious. Finally, the subtle homemade nougat. The couple who run this restaurant are adorable. It is nicely decorated which beautifies this long restaurant.

04/05/2024: Merci beaucoup Jacques et l'équipe pour un expérience extraordinaire! Jacques Fausset is a one Michelin-star, local, "mom and pop" restaurant that delivers exceptional food, plating artistry, service - all tucked away in a low key neighbourhood on the west side of the city. I didn't believe my eyes to see Jacques himself bringing out dishes to diners, pouring wine and even reminding me gently to not use my phone during dinner ;) A true restauranteur and business owner who shows he also gets his hands dirty and works as hard if not harder than his crew. The food was wow - fresh, wonderful blend of flavours, beautiful plating and just the right amount of food to be able to enjoy each bite. The mackerel fennel dish was my personal favourite - just perfect. Sophia was great at helping us select our mocktail choices, explaining the dishes, and reflecting an approachable demeanour the entire evening. She complimented Jacques' style well. While there may be 2 or 3-star restaurants in the city, Jacques Faussat would be my choice again to go because of its personal touch, where the heart, passion and soul of the restaurant owner could be palpated in each dish and interaction with diners. What a special experience - highly recommend for a business dinner, a romantic date or if you just love food done well and with vision. Bravo and merci à vous encore!

02/05/2024: 1-star restaurant located near the Malesherbes metro station. Very warm welcome from chefs Jacques Faussat and Youssef Marzouk as well as the table staff, who immediately put us at ease. The service was attentive. The wines perfectly match our dishes. The house cocktail was very good, fruity, ideal to start the meal. Refined and creative cuisine. The dishes from start to finish were fine, tasty and careful. The flavor combinations were fair and balanced. We were able to discover and re-discover flavors throughout the tastings. The dishes were also superbly presented. Special mention for the duck breast and the asparagus starter. We really appreciated that chef Youssef Marzouk, a chef who is both talented and humble, introduced us to the dishes he concocted by combining his childhood memories. In short, a very good time, a very interesting human, culinary and taste experience. To do and/or redo. Possibility of adapting according to our dietary constraints (allergy etc.)

06/04/2024: Great food..try burrata, pesto, cherry-truffle pasta-lasagna…all delicious! Slow service but we weren’t in a hurry! :) Relaxed atmosphere..a lovely evening.

05/04/2024: Excellent address discovered by chance. It is better to book in advance. The dishes are made with fresh produce and this is reflected in the taste. The menu formula is quite interesting (dish + dessert + drink + coffee) Friendly welcome and decent wait as long as you come at the start of the service. A place I would happily return to!

03/01/2024: A bar with several rooms, including one at the bar for quiet talking, a downstairs room for dancing and one quiet upstairs for playing games or other things. Easily bookable for different events.
