The server is nice.
The place is rather calm.
Out of 4 dinners there, the boss was unpleasant twice. Including once it was his replacement.
Last time there were 7 of us at our table out of 11 customers in total for the evening. Including 2 who left as soon as their meal was finished. And 2 regulars who just had drinks at the bar.
The first time we attracted 2 or 3 tables of customers.
In short, his harbor is empty, we make the majority of his turnover on Saturday evenings.
We politely ask him to turn down the sound on the TV. At that time we were the only customers. He tells us no because it's the Olympics. To then tell us to shout less loudly at our board games.
Once our drinks and meals have been paid for at 10:00 p.m. he chases us away.
My friends felt rather unwelcome.
I don't understand how you can run a bar in these conditions?

21/09/2024: The setting is great: location, terrace and decor..
On the other hand...to eat...40/45 minutes of waiting: the excuse of crowds is not everything...because you receive your dish (barely cooked fries) BEFORE your starter... for a starter starter place (rillettes in a terrine... gherkins and pickles so no last minute finishing touches... just to send if there is sufficient set up).. that breaks things a bit: it's more a question of organization than of attendance
...all this for basic product quality... it's not bad at all but nothing that compensates for the hiccups.
Nothing to say about the politeness of the teams, we have the impression that they are doing their best but that it is not (yet) their job.
In short, nice for the setting to have a drink (fast bar service) but more disappointing for the restaurant...or maybe because of the setting we hope for more...

They are execrable, be careful they pretend to forget to give you change... (the first time I thought it was an oversight, but after several orders I realize that they are clearly thieves)
To flee!
29/08/2024: While visiting Paris for a day, I stopped in Belleville at this restaurant because my father likes to eat there due to our Tunisian origins, very good cuisine, friendly Tunisian atmosphere, still pay attention to the addition at the end because when they bring you the kemya and you don't want it they still count it for you and if you don't report it it's for you.

16/11/2024: I had read that it had changed and that it is no longer the same since there was a change of ownership....well I went there last night and I understood why....it it's not even possible to sit inside since there are drafts everywhere the cocktail menu well it's really not great so the toilets were a shit hole with a curtain instead on door! zero !!
In short, I won't go back

On the other hand, prices are increasing! (no pun intended)
A Swiss bread which goes from €1.60 to €2 all round, an increase of almost 25%
She has a good back on inflation 😂

10/03/2024: I'm sorry to put a bad rating, having a business right now is not easy.
It's been 5 years since I last went there. A member of my family passing through Paris reminded me of this brasserie where my boss and his employees used to go, then I went there with my family. It was excellent, there was Marie who was the sun of this place. The cuisine was tasty and very affordable.
The owner came to see us several times, it was disturbing, we didn't know if she was in a hurry to clear our plates or she was unhappy that our plates remained in good condition, it was not good. The worst was the dessert - a rum baba - when we asked where the rum was, it was sugar syrup, she told us it was simply a baba???? In short, if you know this address, keep a taste for Proust's madeleine, otherwise you will be very, very disappointed.
We preferred to drink our coffee elsewhere for fear of drinking an ersatz coffee.

06/09/2024: Finding a tasty and hearty merguez couscous for the low price of €12.90 is the challenge that l’Impondérable takes on. It’s really good couscous, and it’s served with a smile. Sympathy is required here. It's good to have these neighborhood bistros that make Jourdain a popular place.
