20/03/2024: Exceptional restaurant. There were 4 of us, and all used to Michelin-starred restaurants: we think it was an extraordinary dinner, without doubt deserving 3 Michelin stars. In fact, only the setting, beautiful but a little dated, can explain the current "one star" . And that’s good, the restaurant will be completely redone for September, our hostess told me (but it remains open until then). Concerning cooking, we are far from wandering like Top Chef: here it is the product which is the center of attention, and not the ego of the cook. Despite a discreet but real sophistication, we are not in disguise and overkill. The result is that, for example, my lamb was stunning, and I weigh my words. Believe it or not, it’s a meal that I won’t forget, like before it at Guy Savoy or Chez Bruno in Lorgues, in a more rustic style. Perfect service, precise, warm, and not intrusive. Allow around 300 euros per person.

06/04/2024: Very nice French bistro. The lunch was delicious and in case you got time for an extended lunch including a nice bottle of wine, don't forget to ask for the wine list. The choice of wonderful wines is as amazing as the dishes that get prepared in that small kitchen.

01/04/2024: What is required for an ideal dinner? Good food and a convivial and relaxing environment. All this is present at the Yo restaurant: Thai cuisine with a touch of French taste is a delight. The staff is attentive and extremely kind. To return!

Fair cuisine and a varied menu, inventive cocktails and line service, with a special mention for the room upstairs where lively dinners like to stretch out as you feel like you're staying with friends!

05/04/2024: We stopped for some drinks and a small plate of nachos so didn't try and full menu. However the nachos were amazing - proper corn chips for a start which was unexpected! Drinks were really good value during "happy hour" and the servers were really friendly and nice! Would definitely come back when next in Paris.

18/02/2024: This was probably the most satisfying meal I had in France. Not because it’s Chinese food but because the boss is from Chaozhou. I said so am I. Everyone just talks about their own people. Beating your own people to death is irrelevant😝 Then I continued to use Teochew dialect to PR, the shark fin is the authentic Teochew flavor. The boss is cute and amiable. This is not an act. He has a certain character and cultivation, and his magnetic field has many merits. The more cultivated a person is, the more humble he is. This is an example we should follow. He is a well-educated boss. I wish him a prosperous business and peace of mind. Peace of mind is peace. #theboynextdoor

06/04/2024: Truly a superb evening, the galant twink restaurant delighted us on all levels, a beautiful decor, an incredible welcome, a beautiful wine list and a very balanced and varied culinary offering. In short, flawless, I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/04/2024: One of the last old school Paris bars, always packed with interesting people, located in the the fashion and business place to be. They don't take any sht and are extremely gracious to friends and kind strangers. Electronic music at a pleasant level with lively conversation, kid friendly.

30/03/2024: Casual French food. The foie gras was the cold type, and I prefer the sauteed version, but it wasn't bad. I had the beef chuck cooked 8 hours, and it was decent. My wife had the duck confit which was good, and the onion soup was also good. The restaurant seating is very tight and not much space.

02/04/2024: A mixed experience. Moderately good pancakes, very hearty to prevent us from having too many. They are served very quickly, we don't have time to digest or chat before we are served again. I was in a hurry to choose the following ones. Regarding the price, in the end it's not very profitable because the pancakes are too delicious, you won't get many. Many of them are outside the formula marked with a small extra axterix... Concerning the welcome, the waitresses are not very pleasant and do not seem very natural in their speech. The place, although well decorated, is very narrow. Little space, we are uncomfortable. To go to the toilet, you almost have to push the chair of the person sitting right in front... In addition, we were next to a stage, my friend fell backwards and almost hurt himself badly. Following this, few apologies from the staff and a very tendentious response on the internet... It's not up to us to be careful not to fall, right? The staff didn't seem that shocked by this. I don't think I'll come back. It's not worth it if you're quickly stuck with the Archies pancakes provided, it's quite expensive. Booked well in advance for not much....
