28/03/2024: Berhillon, or the institution of Parisian ice cream parlors, is a must to enjoy magnificent ice creams and sorbets. The prices are affordable and the quality has remained for 80 years. The ideal place to enjoy a gourmet moment and high quality products. To do, redo or simply discover. Never disappointed, ad vitam addict.

10/05/2024: This place was highly recommended by a Parisian friend, and we had high hopes. While it was good, it was not as great as we were hoping. For starter, I had the asparagus soup, which was delicious. For my main, I had the fillet mignon, which, much to my surprise, was almost cooked "well done." I always like beef cooked medium rare and never had to be too specific about this in France, but this was an unhappy accident (maybe its because they seem to be catering mostly tourists that ask for disappointing well done steaks ?). For dessert, I had a chocolate cake, which was a massive disappointment - dry and unremarkable - something that would only be fit if this would be someone's first cake. The service was great, and the sommelier gave us some very good recommendations.

04/04/2024: The prices, which are a little high, are perfectly justified by the location of the restaurant and the exceptional quality of the products served there. The cheese board is a gastronomic journey through the French countryside. A special mention for the waitress Sonia, whose warm welcome made us feel like we were staying with friends. Thank you Sonia for this experience!

09/05/2024: We spent our last night in Paris at Au Bougnat and we were very happy with the choice. So Parisienne and the food was absolutely delicious. Simple with very complex flavours. Highly recommend and we will be back.

07/05/2024: We loved the sea bream special with carrot mouselline and pesto. It was SO delicious and very reasonably priced. The dining room is cozy and comfortable and the staff is kind and helpful.

09/05/2024: Found this place by complete chance, and we are glad we did. The restaurant is small(ish), which allowed the owner to be very attentive to all customers. English is spoken here, and well. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of everything. Fair warning: they love parmesan cheese (so do I!) and it is in most of the dishes, in a way where it cannot be taken out. But they were very kind and helpful in finding options which worked for my non-cheese-eating friend.

04/05/2024: Charming little restaurant, Italian and French inspired cuisine, simple and tasty, very friendly and pleasant service. Rather low price for the neighborhood. One of the recommended addresses on Île Saint-Louis.

03/03/2024: We went there for a very special event and our expectations were met. Royal welcome, impeccable service and careful cuisine with quality products. A generous formula with a fair price! We will surely come back.
