07/12/2024: I had the pleasure of being served by Paul B. And I can tell you that I have rarely had such quality service in Paris! Paul was responsive and pleasant for several hours!! I highly recommend this establishment, I had a great time in very good company!!

06/12/2024: The dish of the day was excellent, plentiful for a very reasonable price. The staff is very welcoming and friendly in a Parisian bistro atmosphere.

09/12/2024: Les Marronniers was an incredible find on a cold day when we were looking for a cozy spot to eat. Everything about the experience was perfect—the food, the service, and the atmosphere all hit the mark. I ordered a house Bordeaux and a mojito, both excellent choices that complemented the meal beautifully. We had two dishes: one with chicken and another with beef (like the photo I’m sharing here), and both were cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and comforting on such a chilly day. If you’re in the area and want a warm, welcoming place with great food and drinks, I can’t recommend Les Marronniers enough. It was exactly what we needed, and I’d gladly go back!

22/09/2024: This place never disappoints. Had the rotisserie chicken plate which is just perfect the green beans. Artichoke and cauliflower which are incredibly delicious but the winning dish is the beef bourguignon which is outstanding just perfect. A great atmosphere as always in this Parisian institution. They just can’t replicate the feel of this place I’ve been many times to the London outpost and whilst the food is great it just can’t do what this place can in my opinion.

12/09/2024: I have to be honest. I wanted very much to like this simple fast food kosher restaurant, but it didn't deliver. I ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon. I took one bite and thought, damn that's salty, and I have a high tolerance for salt. I asked my friends to taste it and they too agreed it was beyond salty. Maybe it was an off night. They recommended I eat it with lots of bread or potatoes. That didn't help. It was inedible, so I didn't eat it, but I wanted to give feedback. Afterall, I am a food writer and was trained as a classical french chef based in Paris, and I don't want anyone to fail and feedback is always good, so you can provide the best service and product.., n'est-ce pas? I told one of the "staff" members that it was inedible. He responded, yeah he tasted it that morning and admittedly said it was salty, then why the f*ck did you serve it, or better yet, why wasn't it fixed. Whether they do anything, is up to them. I did taste my husband's fish, and it was fair. And, the chicken was good. For those reasons if I only had the boeuf bourguignon I would've rated in terrible. Net-net, if you're tasting food and it is NOT to your standards, then don't serve it. Would I go back, I'm honestly not sure. Amicalement, Food critic/travel writer....

05/09/2024: I ate falafel last night and got sick overnight. I should have consulted the Alim'confiance site beforehand which assigns the hygiene level "Needs improvement" to Marianne as of August 2, 2024. I (unfortunately) also agree with the comments which say that this is no longer the Marianne we knew...

11/11/2024: I had a 'Vegetarian' dish in the dining room. It was excellent, the service was good and I particularly enjoyed the tabbouleh which was very fragrant and a little spicy! I recommend this choice of dish which allowed me to eat a little bit of everything. The portion was also sufficient without being too filling. THANKS !
