01/12/2023: Only in paris for the weekend but I saw this gem next door and was super excited to visit as I go to tunisia a lot and love their street food. I don't speak French very well so I asked if anyone spoke English and got sent to the table who I can only assume was the owner. As I attempted to ask him about the food I was rudely interrupted by a woman sat at the table with him. Another woman on the table said sorry so I continued and order some food. I was planning to eat it inside as a table freed up but I could hear that woman talking rude things behind my back about me in French (i understand a lot I just don't speak well). I didn't say anything as she was drinking alcohol but she made me feel like I shouldn't be there at all. I understand people complaining about hygiene but if anyone has ever been to tunisia you would know that not using gloves or even smoking indoors is normal and that didn't bother me at all. Now getting abuse for coming in to buy food is something I can't tolerate. Kudos to 2 elderly men working there who were trying to make me feel better and speak to me as well as they could. Needless to say I took my food takeaway and left the place heartbroken because I didn't expect to be abused in a place I wanted to visit so badly. I guess tunisians are only welcoming when in tunisia.

03/12/2024: Inadmissible….A price paid different from that displayed on the card The waitress made us pay 12€ for our cocktail, excluding the latter which was displayed at 10€ on the menu. In bad faith, I do not recommend

06/10/2024: Discovered by chance, while wandering around, Café Drouot turned out to be a very pleasant place! First the welcome was warm and attentive, and then the dishes were copious and delicious. The vegetarian burger in particular is a treat! If we add the attentive service and the low prices, you will understand that everything was there to have an excellent time 🤗

24/11/2024: The waiter guy pulls everything out! The owner of the establishment, if you are reading this, give him a bonus! We ordered onion soup, it was bad, watery, not enough onions, not enough cheese, no good. And also tartare and duck leg, they were acceptable. We didn't like the food, but the guy the waiter pulled out that dinner, thanks to him :)

14/09/2024: Pleasant corner, next to our hotel on Rue La Fayette where we enjoyed a pleasant breakfast. Helpful and kind service, but above all friendly, good value for money.

01/01/2025: Le videur, un homme qui a visiblement beaucoup d’humour, a conditionné notre entrée à l’achat d’une bouteille de champagne à 120€ minimum sous prétexte que c’était le nouvel an ! La vraie raison : nous étions 4 hommes et 1 femme (tous largement majeurs), il n’y avait donc pas assez de femelles pour monsieur le videur pour que nous puissions rentrer. Surtout que ce brave homme a laissé rentrer juste avant nous des mineures (évidemment 3 filles et un garçon). Le café oz devrait redescendre de son pied d’estale, vous n’êtes pas le Ritz ou le Georges V ! Vraiment pitoyable !!!

06/08/2024: The missing Google category is wine:5 star! This wine bar/restaurant is a wonderful place: excellent wine, good food, friendly, knowledgeable owner. Situated on a quiet side street, you can actually have a clear conversation with your party in spite of being 50 meters from Place de Clichy! We found our meal good , authentic and of course, the wine recommendation per course, on the spot. The owner speaks English and is friendly and can convey his extensive knowledge without being condescending! You can see from the pictures that all wines are accessible for every price category . This is my wholehearted recommendation for every friend and family member visiting Paris.

30/11/2024: By chance in the neighborhood we discovered this restaurant where we welcome you with a smile in a friendly decor and atmosphere. We ate very well. The succulent meats, my delicious black pudding, the impeccable salmon steak. Note efficient service despite the midday rush and excellent value for money. Go there without reservations.
