26/03/2026: A really lovely place, discovered on our way to the Folies Bergère. A warm welcome (it was so nice!), excellent and quick service if needed. We had a wonderful meal; I highly recommend the pastrami croque monsieur – it's amazing! Those of us from Brittany will know what I mean; we'll be back very soon :))

21/03/2026: We had a wonderful experience learning how to make crepes with Stephane. The class was entertaining, educational and kept the kids occupied all afternoon. Everyone agreed it was the best crepes we’ve ever tasted! Strongly recommend if you are traveling to Paris and enjoy a good crepe or galette. 😋

07/07/2025: I know this authentic bistro seems very busy at the end of the day. Through an acquaintance, I had made a reservation. So the only problem, probably due to the lack of space in the bar and dining room, is the noise from the bar's patrons echoing into the table-service dining area, especially when people are leaning against the bar in part of the small corridor leading to the restaurant. It's a shame there isn't a wine list, but probably because of the large number of bottles you can consume with your eyes. But a lovely evening.

09/03/2026: We went to La Comète this Saturday around 3 pm. The service was amazing, the steak with pepper sauce was delicious, and the snails were remarkable. The pavlova dessert was exceptionally delicious. The waiters also spoke good English!

09/03/2026: Excellent brasserie with great fresh ingredients and generous, delicious dishes. The service is incredibly fast, and you can order the daily specials to take away for just €10. A fantastic spot in the neighborhood!

15/03/2026: Really kind staff, we had a reservation for the terrace but it was cold, so the waitress found inside seats for us, really good ones too. The service was really fast and the interior of the restaurant is really tasteful. For vegetarians, they have fries and seaweed tartar steak which are absolutely delicious!

21/09/2025: We privatized the seasonal workshop for an evening with about thirty people. We had a great time with the owner, who was very flexible. On the day, we received a very warm welcome and impeccable service. The platters lived up to their reputation, and we were able to enjoy some delicious cocktails from the jars. I highly recommend it!

11/03/2026: Very disappointed. If you're a gourmet, steer clear. I was expecting to enter a Parisian institution, but instead I found a run-down place serving reheated food. Common starters, overcooked pork chop lacking sauce, bland cheeses, a Paris-Brest with stale cabbage and a heavy cream filling. The service was barely attentive. We were seated in a lounge area and had to get up to fetch bread and refill our wine. In short, head to one of the many neo-bistros nearby that serve delicious food for less.

15/03/2026: I can’t believe it’s only 4.4 starts right now. We had Onion Soup, Quiche, Croissant, and Pastry. Cappuccino and a Latte. I was very impressed and the service was great.

13/03/2026: The experience was ruined by the service… Arriving in a fairly large group in the early afternoon, we noticed the café was already quite full, but we decided to ask anyway, politely and respectfully, especially since the owner/manager seemed very stressed. She responded curtly and disrespectfully, without any apparent reason, and was almost aggressive. We were completely taken aback but didn't want to get upset and waste time over it. Once served, the pastries were delicious. However, the dishes weren't always clean: the cup I was initially given was dirty, with traces of hot chocolate. In short: no problem with the quality of the pastries, but the service definitely needs improvement, at least for the woman who greets the customers, because the other servers/the gentleman behind the counter are very friendly. Many people don't realize this because the place is well-known, but it's very strange to speak to customers like that.

31/03/2026: Hugo is a wonderfully small restaurant with a great atmosphere. We discovered it by chance, just passing by. Luckily, we got a table without a reservation and thoroughly enjoyed the evening with great wine, excellent food, and fitting music. The carpaccio and foie gras alone were fantastic. The very friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive service completed the perfect evening. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Hugo!

31/03/2026: We went there to eat a small dinner and got a nice table with no waiting time. The service was very nice and attentive. We ordered our food and it came pretty quick. The food was really really good and also of a good quality. Next time we are in Paris we are definitely going there again. It was one of the best if not THE best restaurant we went to on our Paris trip. I can only recommend it to everyone who is going to Paris.

06/03/2026: The service was quick, maybe due to not many patrons when we ordered. The place filled up quite fast testament to its popularity. The food is genuine French fare that is Halal and tasty.

21/02/2026: Excellent halal French restaurant with refined dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. Superb desserts. One small drawback: I ordered a non-alcoholic beer but was served a 5% beer. The manager apologized and removed the drink after I realized the mistake. Even if the error was unintentional, I would have appreciated being offered a different drink or a small gesture of goodwill.

17/03/2026: I came to this restaurant for dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the welcome and service. We were seated quickly upon arrival, and the staff was very professional throughout the meal. I ordered a meat dish with vegetables, and it was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and well-prepared. The presentation of the dishes was elegant, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is pleasant, neither too noisy nor too quiet, making it a great place to spend time. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The prices are consistent with the quality offered. I highly recommend this place.
