28/09/2024: Excellent cuisine, very friendly and attentive staff, all in quick service. We even take leftovers in case we don't finish the plate! The possibility of ordering pizzas (excellent and plentiful) is pure joy. I highly recommend. 👌👌👌

21/09/2024: I recently dined at L'Escalet restaurant and was very disappointed with the experience. I ordered octopus and polenta, but the octopus totally lacked flavor, and the polenta was a mess, completely liquid. It is surprising that such a poorly prepared dish is served. In addition, no atmosphere is created by the restaurant. They seem to take advantage of the setting of the port of La Ciotat, attracting tourists thanks to the night market, without worrying about the quality of their offer. These visitors will leave without even knowing the flavor of good polenta. The service was not up to par either. We were placed in a corner, not really taken care of, and the waiter spent his time making jokes about the tourists, rather than focusing on the customers present. It would have been more appreciable if he invested more, especially towards local customers who expect a minimum of quality on their plate. To top it off, when choosing desserts, we were assured that everything was homemade. Unfortunately, the dessert we chose was covered in industrial whipped cream, which was very disappointing. In summary, Escalet no longer meets expectations, both in terms of quality of dishes and service. I no longer recommend this address.

14/09/2024: Bella pizzeria. très bonnes pizzas pâte légère croustillante avec les fameux petits coussins tout au tour de la pizza qui nous apporte un crousti moelleux ingrédients frais et goûteux ,une belle découverte

20/08/2024: The pizzas are very good with good dough and good ingredients. I was able to try 3, a little disappointed by the marguerita which is without basil and with black olives, on the other hand the pesto mozzarella and the Armenian are very successful and copious.

12/11/2024: Succulentes pizza cuites au feu de bois à deux pas du vieux port. Ambiance familiale dans cette petite salle très accueillante. Une adresse à recommander !

08/09/2024: The dishes (we tasted 3) are really not great, the Cesar salad much too acidic for example, the desserts without any taste, the waiter told us that they are homemade which was clearly not the case . To avoid.

05/09/2024: Very good, hearty dishes served with a great smile and lots of kindness from Angélique. Very family restaurant like few others exist. I really recommend it and we will come back. Thank you for your welcome.

29/08/2024: I'm not giving 5 stars...that would mean that it's beyond normal, so 4 😉 Very friendly restaurant Extra team Hearty and excellent pizza...I'm not even talking about the other dishes ordered as excellent as the pizza... Family atmosphere Excellent welcome from both the server and the boss I highly recommend!!!
