05/07/2025: If you're passing through Chartres and want to eat a pizza at the foot of the Cathedral, stop at La Passacaille. They're certainly too humble to say they're world champions. The dough is exceptional, and all the customers around me agree that they're excellent. We also tried the tarte tatin and the tiramisu... we absolutely don't regret not resisting the temptation.
23/06/2025: Disappointed with the change of ownership. Sloppy pizzas, really poor service, 2 order errors. In short, we won't be going back.

31/01/2026: A great find near the motorway. We were on our way and looking for somewhere to have lunch away from the overpriced motorway service areas.
We discovered this place which offers a set menu (starter/main/dessert) for 16 euros. Good food and a very friendly welcome. Definitely worth a try!
16/12/2025: This restaurant is well located on the RN (National Route), Thivard exit, heading towards Chateaudun. They offer set menus, including a starter, main course, and dessert for €15.50, which is more than reasonable for a meal made with fresh ingredients.
So, in terms of value for money, it's really good, with a friendly and welcoming staff.

17/01/2026: It's winter, so my sweetheart and I went to eat raclette at La Toscane restaurant in Illiers-Combray. Simply delicious! 👌😋😋 Unlimited potatoes 🥔 and unlimited cheese (melted and gently melting on the plate). All accompanied by 50cl of a perfect white wine. The owners are attentive and responsive to your requests.

14/02/2026: This is my second time at this establishment.
Today, the service was a little slow, which is normal: it was Saturday lunchtime and it was busy. Besides, it was the weekend, so we're not complaining. But I admit it was a bit long, lol 😀.
The pizzas 🍕 were delicious.
PS: In my opinion, I think the restaurant could use a refresh, as it's a bit dated.
We ordered a Coke, two aperitifs, two pizzas 🍕, a chicken escalope with pasta, and two coffees ☕️.
We paid €72.50.
The waiter was very pleasant.
14/02/2026: Lunch today with my children. Served by Aldryck, who was super friendly, smiling, and pleasant. We need people like him everywhere. A more than pleasant waiter.

13/01/2026: Excellent experience! We placed a spontaneous and quick order for several people, including burgers, kebabs, and paninis. I highly recommend the Italian bread paninis—a real treat! The portion was more than generous and they were delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Le Kiosque a Pizza

27/11/2024: Surprenant de trouver un bon kiosque à pizza à cet endroit. Le service est rapide. Pour la calzone cela faisait longtemps que n'en avais pas mangé et bien j' ai tenté et c'est une réussite. Mes enfants ont partagé une au peppéroni et une 4 fromages.
Le Monsieur est fort gentil. Je recommande.

A honey goat cheese pizza, and 3 presto, chicken, savoyard, and classic.
The only pizza where I can eat the crust because the dough is thin,
A delight I recommend and I adopt it,

26/08/2024: I have seen lots of reviews and sometimes very aggressive ones. I will be impartial because this is the first time I have had pizzas from this gentleman who was very friendly. Already it is clean then no one has been sick, the pizzas are good but for our taste the dough is too thin and a only olive, well that's just boss. I also took 2 mousses where you have to wait for them to defrost but they are excellent.
