11/02/2026: Alpine Lounge is the most fantastic, welcoming restaraunt by far in Morzine. In one week alone, we visited four times and we were not disapointed at all. Big shout out to the Maître d' John, what a legend, a huge asset to the restaraunt. Back next year for sure.
09/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, pleasant setting and quality dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

15/01/2026: We started out just for drinks... and ended up staying for dinner... A lovely, relaxing moment in the sunshine ☀️ in the middle of winter... With beer, cheese and charcuterie... and dessert, of course 😉... A pleasant place for a friendly get-together. And by the way, the staff were smiling and welcoming.
05/01/2026: Lovely bar, visited a couple of times while we were in Morzine and it was warm and comfortable with lovely staff and drinks!

22/02/2026: A very good burger restaurant with some mountain-style burgers. They offer several set menus and a children's menu (nuggets and fries), as well as a variety of drinks. The burgers are very good and a decent size. You can eat in, but not inside; there are a few tables outside with a parasol for shelter from bad weather.

28/02/2026: A terrible experience this lunchtime. We ordered a butcher's cut (chef's selection of the day) as part of the set menu, but we were served offal without being told. To offer a butcher's cut for €33 and then serve offal without any explanation is simply false advertising. This practice is outrageous; it's nothing short of theft!

This is obviously a place to avoid.
21/02/2026: Great setting and warm welcome. The terrace is slightly sheltered, perfect for escaping the snow. Nice spot for mulled wine. The food was okay. The tartiflette was disappointing, full of water/oil and with potatoes cut into large chunks, not up to the standard of other restaurants. Great welcome.

25/02/2026: We were here on February 25th, during the day. The waiters, to put it mildly, don't know what service is. We waited 15 minutes for a menu (even though the tables were less than 50% full), until I approached a staff member and asked for one—we'd have kept waiting. After that, we asked for water along with the menu, but for the next 10 minutes we didn't see any, and not a single waiter came to take our order. We got up and left. I have no idea what the food tastes like here.

14/12/2025: Just the best place for plat du jour or a great burger. The coffee is excellent and the hosts are very friendly. Much more French than the places nearby and a welcome break from just tourist food.

24/02/2026: We ordered steak, pizza, tartar, soup and veggie plate and we all couldn't even finish.
Everything is pale and tasteless, really poor cooking on a variety of dishes.
23/02/2026: For those who remember the sugar crepe scene in the French comedy film "Les Bronzés," this is exactly it. You walk in, and to ask for a table, you feel like you're bothering them. I've read some other reviews, and they're spot on. The "I'm out of pizza at 1 p.m." line couldn't be more true.
The service is appalling.
Another evening, I went back because my apartment was right next door. At 9:20 p.m., I ordered three pizzas to go, and they looked at me like I was an alien. They told me they'd been out of pizza for ages...
They like to claim they're fully booked for two weeks, which is completely untrue.
The restaurant is often half empty when you walk by during service hours.
Last but not least, I had the "pleasure" of eating a pizza there. It was disgusting, and the dough was frozen.
Avoid at all costs.

09/09/2024: Very good summer vacation with the family
04/09/2024: Rental for 6 reserved for 4 people, master bedroom with an XXL bed + bedroom with 2 single beds + 1 convertible sofa. The kitchen space seems just right for 6 people. Balcony with views of the Morzine valley (sunset every evening from the balcony). Very well soundproofed residence. Loan of equipment for raclette and fondue, wide choice of board games for bad weather days. Car parked during baggage drop-off/loading (2 hours free under the residences) with trolleys available to collect belongings. Several walks possible directly from the residences on foot.

29/07/2024: As always, the perfect summer lunch. Quick, friendly service and by far the best beignets (local version of rosti) in the mountains. The owner/chef, Jean-Roger has his own secret recipe and they're to die for - light, crisp and melt in your mouth. Generous servings and beautifully presented. I've been coming here for five years and have never had a bad meal. The menu changes in the ski season and I'm already looking forward to coming back in December for my anchovy pizza.
1
