21/03/2026: An amazing location, perfect for ski in and out. Heated ski lockers underneath building and straight out onto slopes.
We upgraded our room for a mountain view and we're really pleased with our apartment. Fabulous views and away from any noise below. Quiet area of resort though, so didn't expect this to be much of a problem, however the views were incredible.
Accomodation was great and very clean.
Reception staff were very helpful and a nice touch being able to order croissants/ bakery bits night before.
Skied with ESF ski school who were very good.
Walk into the main town was approx 15 mins away. Cafes nearby though.
Nearby shops could deliver food to apartment if required.
Drove to resort and parking underneath the hotel made our arrival and departure very easy, trolleys available to load luggage up, to take to apartment. Lots of parking spaces. Did need snow chains to exit resort on last day.
Picked up online ordering of ski passes in hotel reception. Everything seemed to be covered to make our stay very straightforward.
Spa, though was a disappointment. Outside saunas did not work during our week and only 1 of the steam rooms.
Swimming pool was lovely though.

13/08/2026: A lovely place where we just had a refreshing juice, great atmosphere, very nice location and a cheerful welcome despite the late hour 😉
10/08/2026: We stopped there on a weekday around 3 pm, feeling a bit peckish, so we ordered a small pizza, but it wasn't really a pizza. It had the kind of dough you'd find at a flammekueche, mountain cheese, bland merguez sausage, and no authentic Italian spices. What a shame!

Very nice and atteintive waiters: Damian, Charles and especially Hugo that made some jokes with us about the IPA beer 🤭. So Hugo, let's keep in mind that Indian Pale Ale 🤗. Don't miss the Fox Den or la Taniere de Renard.

27/08/2026: A bill rip-off, food worthy of a bad school cafeteria, and slow service: avoid at all costs! We had fish and chips and two burgers. The fish and chips was okay. However, the €20 burgers were a disaster: the buns were as hard as crackers, as if they'd been left in the oven for too long. Then, we weren't asked how we wanted our steaks cooked. I asked for them rare anyway. They came back... well-done! But cooked like they'd been microwaved. Rubbery, dense, and overcooked. At €21, it's outrageous. We felt completely ripped off. But that's not all. We paid, left, and thought, "That's strange, it's still expensive." We turned around and asked for a breakdown. The waitress who served us and took our payment told us it wasn't possible to get a receipt. I said, "It's easy, just take the menu and do the bill." She called her manager. He sulked and gave her a dirty look. Well, yes, they secretly charged us 8 euros extra for two beers. Outrageous. Frankly, they're not good in the kitchen and they have dishonest practices at the till. Read other reviews; you'll see that other people have had the same experience. We don't recommend it; quite the opposite. Avoid it.
22/08/2026: We ordered four pizzas to take away and during the 30-minute wait we had an aperitif on the terrace.
The pizzas were very good and generously topped.
I recommend it.

12/07/2026: We ate there during Harley Days; the small terrace by the river was simple yet very pleasant. The staff was perfect: quick, efficient, and very friendly, even though the restaurant was packed. Well done to everyone!

24/08/2026: We ate a burger that frankly wasn't even worthy of McDonald's, and a kebab without the bread due to an intolerance. The portion size was frankly unacceptable.
We practically paid €40 and were hungry again 30 minutes later.
13/08/2026: The pizzas were far too small and thin for the price. Clearly overrated.
The staff, however, were very friendly.

28/08/2026: I arrived twice around 8 pm for dinner, the restaurant was only half full, and I was systematically refused service, even though the restaurant has an agreement with the Pierre & Vacances residence. It's absolutely outrageous. I spoke to the owner, who couldn't have cared less…
22/08/2026: We had a very pleasant time with friends enjoying a delicious raclette. Nothing better to end our stay.

29/07/2024: As always, the perfect summer lunch. Quick, friendly service and by far the best beignets (local version of rosti) in the mountains. The owner/chef, Jean-Roger has his own secret recipe and they're to die for - light, crisp and melt in your mouth. Generous servings and beautifully presented. I've been coming here for five years and have never had a bad meal. The menu changes in the ski season and I'm already looking forward to coming back in December for my anchovy pizza.
1
