21/03/2026: An amazing location, perfect for ski in and out. Heated ski lockers underneath building and straight out onto slopes.
We upgraded our room for a mountain view and we're really pleased with our apartment. Fabulous views and away from any noise below. Quiet area of resort though, so didn't expect this to be much of a problem, however the views were incredible.
Accomodation was great and very clean.
Reception staff were very helpful and a nice touch being able to order croissants/ bakery bits night before.
Skied with ESF ski school who were very good.
Walk into the main town was approx 15 mins away. Cafes nearby though.
Nearby shops could deliver food to apartment if required.
Drove to resort and parking underneath the hotel made our arrival and departure very easy, trolleys available to load luggage up, to take to apartment. Lots of parking spaces. Did need snow chains to exit resort on last day.
Picked up online ordering of ski passes in hotel reception. Everything seemed to be covered to make our stay very straightforward.
Spa, though was a disappointment. Outside saunas did not work during our week and only 1 of the steam rooms.
Swimming pool was lovely though.

Very nice and atteintive waiters: Damian, Charles and especially Hugo that made some jokes with us about the IPA beer 🤭. So Hugo, let's keep in mind that Indian Pale Ale 🤗. Don't miss the Fox Den or la Taniere de Renard.

14/12/2025: Just the best place for plat du jour or a great burger. The coffee is excellent and the hosts are very friendly. Much more French than the places nearby and a welcome break from just tourist food.

The service was appalling… a 1 hour 10 minute wait to be served on a Saturday night with very few customers.
We ordered an aperitif and spring rolls with Reblochon cheese. €14 for three measly, tiny spring rolls that were practically nonexistent and tasteless, with only the taste of oil… hardly enough to feed six people.
Then came the main courses… the wrong order. We had ordered a classic Swiss fondue, but a porcini mushroom fondue arrived, very small for two people… We pointed this out to the waiter, who insisted it was a fondue with Swiss cheese… true, but that wasn't what we ordered. We reminded him, and he insisted the cheese was Swiss. It seems difficult to distinguish between a Swiss fondue and a porcini mushroom fondue… Anyway, after 1 hour 10 minutes, we weren't about to ask for the correct order again.
Furthermore, there weren't any glasses for water.
A nice gesture of goodwill from the manager, who offered us a charcuterie board.
I absolutely do not recommend this place…

My colleagues and I ate at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer for €14, and we were quite surprised when our order arrived... just three measly, tiny spring rolls. We also ordered some pizzas, waited over an hour and ten minutes, and the pizzas were served lukewarm, bland, and unappetizing... in short, bottom-of-the-barrel. The restaurant was far from full.
Some colleagues ordered a Swiss fondue for two people and received a porcini mushroom fondue instead...
Not to mention that we weren't given glasses for our water.
However, the owner did offer us a charcuterie board, which was a nice gesture.
I do not recommend it.

01/08/2026: The service was terrible. Not having a table available without a reservation is perfectly understandable, but the way customers were treated so rudely is another matter entirely. The owner greeted us in a curt and haughty tone. There's a way to tell people they're full without being disrespectful. Avoid this place.
27/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal, the place was beautiful and the welcome was excellent, the waiter was always cheerful and helpful 😉

29/07/2024: As always, the perfect summer lunch. Quick, friendly service and by far the best beignets (local version of rosti) in the mountains. The owner/chef, Jean-Roger has his own secret recipe and they're to die for - light, crisp and melt in your mouth. Generous servings and beautifully presented. I've been coming here for five years and have never had a bad meal. The menu changes in the ski season and I'm already looking forward to coming back in December for my anchovy pizza.
