20/01/2026: After a good movie at the cinema across the street, a (very) good pizza.
The restaurant is incredibly welcoming, with a super friendly atmosphere and fast service.
The Reims-style pizza with Maroilles cheese is simply incredible, with a generous and delicious topping on a perfectly thin crust.
Can't wait to try their other creations!

02/03/2026: This small pizza shop is one of the few things you will find open in this area this time of year on a Sunday evening. Pretty much takeaway for us - pretty small inside. The shop focused on pizza - they have several styles from the local basque, traditional and then pizzas from around the world. They have a number of wines, soft drinks, and even a local cider in their cooler.
We were unsure of French pizza BUT - fresh ingredients and a great deal of love make for great pizza, and that's what you find here. The lady running the shop is multilingual, quite the charmer, and she makes a good pizza too! We went with a local basque flavor to try some of that famous ham - good call. Would do again - definitely recommend.

06/12/2025: My pizza had a hole in the middle. I called to ask for an explanation and a gesture of goodwill. The person on the other end of the phone was rude and told me she wasn't in business and couldn't do anything about it. Furthermore, my pizza was supposed to have kebab and merguez sausage (the pizza was called "L'Oriental"). Since they were out of kebab, I asked for chicken instead. I got chicken, but no merguez. Deplorable.

04/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this pizzeria! The pizzas are simply delicious: a very thin crust, perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven, generously topped, and incredibly filling. Every bite was a true delight, with flavorful, high-quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting; you immediately feel at ease. The service is excellent, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! 🍕🔥 THANK YOU

28/02/2026: Delicious food and efficient service; we got our order very quickly.
Dominika really enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara and there was plenty of it.
Martyna said the tagliatelle alla carbonara wasn't watery and had the perfect consistency.
Szymon found it very good (Pizza Montagna).
Krzysiek said the Pizza Solegiatta has a very interesting selection of ingredients and good quality cheeses.
The Pizza Pirenis I ordered was good.
Other than that, the restaurant is nice, decorated with interesting posters. Be careful with the hot olive oil, as it's quite spicy. Overall, a good restaurant.

Very disappointed, ruined evening.
29/10/2025: When you get back from the coast, whatever the time or day, the Souraïde vending machine is a godsend. Eight pizzas to choose from, ready in 4 minutes 30 seconds. My partner and I opted for the "Pappy-Jo" and we weren't disappointed. The thin crust wasn't burnt and was even crispy, though not too much for our taste. Just a few toppings were "burnt" from contact with the aluminum tray. When I say "a few," I mean two or three bits of bacon, so it's not the end of the world. We'll gladly try the others when we're back.

09/10/2025: Exceptional setting a few meters from the port and the beach. It's the only acceptable restaurant in the area and we were very disappointed. No water or bread at the table. The dishes offered on the menu do not exist. I told you "no paella, prawns, monkfish, fish..." said the waiter. The ham croquettes are mostly potato croquettes. The mussels with chorizo are swimming in a pink creamy sauce and most are already detached from their shells. They do not contain chorizo. The waiters are tattooed thugs in shorts. We miss the service of yesteryear in restaurants and when will there be an acceptable restaurant in this corner of Hendaye?

I order a pepina or it already has mushrooms on it, I ask for extra mushrooms, and I'm still looking for the extra! You can see for yourself in the photo...

02/09/2024: Une jolie rue bordée de terrasses aussi attirantes qu’inconnues à nos palais…choix difficile…une ardoise avec quelques mets locaux nous interpelle : chipirons à la plancha, merlu à l’espagnole…nous tentons l’aventure…l’accueil est agréable et sommes vite placés. La prise de commande ne tarde pas, l’attente du service sera bien plus longue…mais nous permet de nous rendre compte dans quel endroit sordide nous sommes tombés : toiles d’araignées pendant au dessus de nos assiettes, toilettes immondes, un vite coup d’œil sur des cuisines infectes, une cliente servie de sardines congelées de 20cm entassées dans une assiette avec quelques frites pas cuites…et puis NOS ASIETTE ! Des chipirons infectes, un merlu puant réduit en bouillie servi avec des pommes de terre papillote recouvertes d’une gelée infâme, une émulsion hollandaise nous dit on…..tout est à vomir !
Je n’ai qu’un seul regret : avoir payé sans avoir fait de scandale !
Par contre, et par respect à cette profession et à cette belle gastronomie basque, je préviendrais les services concernés pour que ce genre d’établissement ne puisse empoisonner personne.
A fuir de toute urgence.

22/09/2024: We are told 1 hour for delivery, after having called them and stayed 10 minutes waiting because it was not delivered on time we are told 20 minutes more, 2 hours later finally the Pizza,
No respect for the customer. I don't recommend these people

23/09/2024: The campsite was full, we didn't have a place!
17/09/2024: What a joy this campsite is. Authentic, clean, ideally located, quiet even on a weekend of August 15. Our 5 year old son walking around and everyone smiling at him…the wild beach, the sunsets.
We will come back happily and eagerly. Thank you for preserving this kind of place.
