24/07/2024: It was much better before... Today if you are not Portuguese or a regular, you have half the doses!!! Unacceptable! Also, check your final grade....just in case.... Really disappointed to have noticed this stupidity on their part. This place has (badly) changed after covid. Will never come back there again, too bad.

27/07/2024: Great place to eat home-made food. Portuguese owned, as I was told. Love the hamburger, but missed tasting the typical Portuguese dish that I saw on the tables, some kind of stew, I think. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

02/03/2024: A very nice address discovered by chance thanks to the magic of GPS when I was looking for a nearby restaurant around midday. Little advice, it is better to call in advance to find out if there is space because this Portuguese restaurant is very quickly full after midday, with tables mainly made up of construction workers, but also many regulars who know find the rare pearl with excellent homemade cuisine, more than generous portions, unbeatable value for money, and all served with a smile by a manager and waitresses who are friendly, polite, and devilishly efficient, even at lunch time. “hot stroke” from lunch. The setting is very simple, without fuss, the menu is short and efficient: 3 starters, 3 main courses and numerous desserts. The Portuguese cassoulet was a delight which brought back holiday memories and the homemade dessert, a real treat that I advise you to try if you have the good idea to stop at this Caravelle. A complete meal with a large bottle of sparkling wine, a quarter of wine and coffee for less than 16 euros, it deserves 5 stars and the furious desire to come back soon on my next visit to Ormesson!

16/03/2024: N’écoutez pas les avis qui sont très méchant, nous y sommes allé en famille et nous nous sommes régalé. Ce n’est pas un restaurant gastronomique, mais si vous voulez passer un bon moment sans prise de tête allez-y ! Gérant très gentils, à l’écoute des clients, et serveurs très agréable. Allez-y et faites vous votre propre avis ! Ps : si les gérants passent par là, merci beaucoup pour l’accueil !

10/03/2024: avant je venais de temps en temps manger, il y avait du monde et ce qui me plaisait surtout c’était le buffet qui était très sympa, sain , varié et à volonté, donc déçu et je pense que c'est une très mauvaise idée de l’avoir enlever, donc plus d’intérêt en ce qui me concerne de revenir et les prix sont devenus trop cher...

20/07/2024: Visited this restaurant for lunch and was surprised at how busy it was A set menu plus a la carte menu available We were met by a lady whose English was excellent and were shown to our table Both menus were explained to us and the choice was fantastic I had prawns and chorizo to start, others had goats cheese and tuna salad Main course I had steak on a skewer, others had the fish dish and chicken with pasta For desert we had chocolate mouse and others had creme brulee Service was very good and house wine was lovely

17/12/2024: Disappointing experience. 4 of us came to have a good end of year time, but the service and seriousness were not there. After asking what the Campione pizza was made of, the waiter replied vaguely: "minced meat, peppers, etc., what's in a pizza". Two of us order a bacon cheeseburger. One receives a burger without bacon, and after complaining, the waiter brings raw bacon separately on a plate. Worse, this bacon was charged extra. When we pointed out the mistake, he didn't even look at us, made no apologies and replied casually: "It's okay, it's only 2 euros". We really felt like we were bothering him. Lack of professionalism, unpleasant and uncommercial attitude. I do not recommend this establishment.

08/08/2024: Très bien accueillis par le patron. Installés à l ombre d 1 pergola. Poisson bien cuisiné , délicieux. Un fromage blanc à la crème. Avec 1 verre de vin rouge. Simple et très bien. Je recommande l adresse
