06/08/2024: Nous avons bien mangé dans ce restaurant très authentique portugais, étonnant de trouver ce genre de restaurant au plein centre touristique de Paris. Nous reviendrons pour la soirée fado!

28/07/2024: Agréable soirée dans un restaurant portugais typique entre la rue de Rivolî et Les Halles dans une rue étroite à proximité d’un centre Emmaús. Accueil convivial sympathique. Joli décor avec des azulejos muraux qui vous mettent dans l’ambiance. Impossible de prendre un apéritif correct avec des amuse gueule traditionnels. Juste des morceaux de pain rassis (huilés). Le serveur qui semble brésilien parle mal le français. Temps d’attente pour les plats extrêmement long, mais on vous prévient. Grand choix mais la morue est à l’honneur comme il se doit et les plats divers servis avec ce poisson sont énormes et démesurés et complètement recouverts de pommes de terre. Cela correspond presque à un repas de 2 jours. Inutile de prendre une entrée. De toute façon on cale. Pas spécialement goûteux. Excellent vin au verre. Jolies tables bien placées. Prix un peu élevés mais restent corrects. A faire pour tester mais sans plus.

01/10/2024: Menu for 26 euros, main course dessert drink, very expensive for a dish taken in a self concept, we wanted to eat cod so we tried, the cod was dry on the edges, the accompanying you have the basic self, rice, fries, salads or small vegetables. Dessert a chocolate mousse and a non-alcoholic drink is 4 addition to 108 euros to eat without taste of Portugal, disappointed I really wanted to find the flavors but it was tasteless.

01/12/2024: Serveur très désagréable parle mal aux clients sans aucunes politesses du coup nous sommes partis sans consommé a cause de lui. Je pense que l'éducation n'est pas donné a tout le monde et ce n'est pas de la faute des clients si votre vie est si triste. A FUIR

01/07/2024: Server in a hurry and insistent on taking the order as soon as we were seated. Starter served before the aperitif. Only 2 Portuguese specialties, the rest has nothing to do with Portuguese cuisine (egg mayonnaise, oriental tabbouleh, tartare, etc.). A lot has changed in a few years... I was invited by equally disappointed friends. I don't think I'll go back there.

11/12/2025: A true family restaurant, just the way we like them! The welcome is simple, sincere, and very warm. You feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. From the smiling greeting to the perfectly executed dishes, everything was there for a wonderful experience. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors well-balanced, and the portions generous. A passionate restaurateur who deserves to be recognized. A place you'll gladly return to!

25/11/2025: A restaurant with generous and hearty portions! The manager is incredibly kind, always welcoming and attentive. The food is homemade, using high-quality ingredients: you can truly taste the skill and passion in every dish. They also offer a top-notch catering service: professional, responsive, and of impeccable quality. This is a place that definitely deserves to be known. I recommend it 100%!

21/09/2024: Horrible, the place looks like a pigsty, horrible food, we ordered cod and I've never seen anything like it, just the bones and the potatoes were like pure oil chips!! They should close this restaurant urgently. 40 euros thrown in the trash. Yuck 🤢

03/08/2024: I came for lunch on Wednesday afternoon with a friend, and frankly a very nice experience. Beautiful Portuguese atmosphere with really nice people, simple and delicious food, too bad they don't do dinners. I recommend 100%.

24/07/2024: It was much better before... Today if you are not Portuguese or a regular, you have half the doses!!! Unacceptable! Also, check your final grade....just in case.... Really disappointed to have noticed this stupidity on their part. This place has (badly) changed after covid. Will never come back there again, too bad.

09/10/2024: I normally don't look for Portuguese restaurants abroad. However, the restaurant offer in Guyancourt disappointed me greatly so I didn't hesitate in coming to this typically Tuga establishment. The hosts are friendly and polite, worthy of the best hospitality in my country. The food looks like mom's. Homemade, with impeccable and fresh ingredients. Very tasty and well prepared. The environment is noisy but typical of the way of life of our people. It's a shame they don't serve dinner. Thank you very much....

27/07/2024: Great place to eat home-made food. Portuguese owned, as I was told. Love the hamburger, but missed tasting the typical Portuguese dish that I saw on the tables, some kind of stew, I think. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

02/03/2024: A very nice address discovered by chance thanks to the magic of GPS when I was looking for a nearby restaurant around midday. Little advice, it is better to call in advance to find out if there is space because this Portuguese restaurant is very quickly full after midday, with tables mainly made up of construction workers, but also many regulars who know find the rare pearl with excellent homemade cuisine, more than generous portions, unbeatable value for money, and all served with a smile by a manager and waitresses who are friendly, polite, and devilishly efficient, even at lunch time. “hot stroke” from lunch. The setting is very simple, without fuss, the menu is short and efficient: 3 starters, 3 main courses and numerous desserts. The Portuguese cassoulet was a delight which brought back holiday memories and the homemade dessert, a real treat that I advise you to try if you have the good idea to stop at this Caravelle. A complete meal with a large bottle of sparkling wine, a quarter of wine and coffee for less than 16 euros, it deserves 5 stars and the furious desire to come back soon on my next visit to Ormesson!
