20/01/2026: The atmosphere is just like in Portugal! Cheerful, warm, and friendly. The homemade dish is delicious, and very generous 🫶🫶🫶. As for the welcome and service! It doesn't deserve enough stars! The couple who run this restaurant are so kind and always attentive to all their customers. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I'll be back.

13/09/2025: Really not good. The salmon fillet was tasteless, accompanied by frozen peas and a few corn kernels. No interest or flavor. I find it scandalous to propose this cafeteria plan.

13/11/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I saw good reviews about it, but it has nothing to do with Portuguese food, as you can see in the photo. The meat was overcooked, and the crème brûlée dessert was far from being the same. The service was quick and very friendly.

18/04/2026: We just left the restaurant... 30 minutes before they even came to take our order, it's shameful, and as we were leaving the waiter had the nerve to ask another waitress right in front of us if we had paid... they need to learn some basic manners...

31/03/2026: We'd heard about this chain and wanted to try it out. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. At 7:50 PM, I called to ask if there was a wait and if we could bring a dog. No wait, dog allowed. Arrived at 8 PM, left at 10 PM with a friend. We arrived, and from outside, the restaurant was only a quarter full. A stocky, pot-bellied man in his fifties, not very friendly, asked how many people were in our party. We heard that because one group was incomplete, they wouldn't be seated. We were made to wait 30 minutes. It was only because I said on the phone that there wouldn't be a wait that the man finally seated us. There were several empty tables for two. More waiting, I tasted the bread roll: sourdough flavor, white, undercooked, stale, and salty. The man takes orders based on who's in charge; people who arrived later are served first. They're only friendly to tourists. The two waitresses avoid our gaze. A birthday celebration in five different languages, the man shouts instead of singing. It quickly becomes tiresome. You can tell it's forced. I call over a waitress, who is obliged to take the order, and ask for faster service. She gives the man the details. Another wait. Veal chop cooked medium, rice. The man and a woman bring the dishes; the man scolds the dog, which was lying quietly. I ask about the fries; he's angry and tells me they're coming. The meat isn't grilled; it seems like it was boiled before being cooked and is very salty. The rice tastes of onions and is very salty. The fries are lukewarm but edible, though they quickly cool down. The pepper sauce tastes like cocktail sauce. Not a very large quantity and really not good quality. In the restrooms, the accessible toilet is for men, even though it's for both men and women. The women's toilet is tiny. The waitress came to clear the table, but she didn't ask if everything was alright, and she didn't order dessert or coffee. We paid €43.80 in total for two people, and we were very disappointed and left with a bitter taste in our mouths. When it came time to pay, I saw that all the orders were assigned to a man. Very sexist and unpleasant behavior towards women. I don't know if the two waitresses were registered or not, but their names weren't listed. We even went for a drink at Roberta, where the waitresses are very pleasant, to have a positive experience to end the evening. Very expensive restaurant, no quality food (the cheapest option is better). Learn to cook!! Avoid this restaurant!!!

11/03/2026: Excellent time spent at Pedra Alta Bercy for lunch around 2:00 PM. Quality rib steak but very tough.

19/03/2026: I LOVE IT. I've been a regular at this specialty restaurant for many years. I never tire of it. The dishes are consistently excellent, and above all, the quality of the ingredients is outstanding, offering excellent value for money. The welcome is warm and friendly, just like being at home. Thank you to Manu and his partner. Sincerely.

08/11/2025: At Manu's, you won't leave hungry, but with a smile! Hearty, homemade food, a super friendly owner (the free coffee is the icing on the cake!). The decor has a charming retro feel... let's just say the food is better than the decor 😄. In short, a great Portuguese spot where you'll feel right at home!

21/12/2025: We just drove quite a few kilometers to find this supposedly open restaurant, and there was nothing there. The phone number didn't work, and there were no signs on site, just a sign saying "open" with the hours. Disgusted.

23/03/2026: A simple restaurant with a €16.50 set menu (main course and starter) and Portuguese specialties. The drinks are overpriced. So we just had a kir for €4, which was served in small flutes. The starters were decent. The main course was shepherd's pie. The mashed potatoes were good, topped with large mushrooms in an unfamiliar meat sauce. A bit disappointed, as this restaurant was very good a few years ago.

04/03/2026: Very disappointed. It really wasn't great! The rice wasn't Portuguese at all... The restaurant's name is completely misleading! I won't be going back and I absolutely do not recommend it!

28/03/2026: I went for lunch after visiting Versailles, which is nearby (1-2km). It's a Portuguese restaurant. The food was great and the portions were generous. We couldn't finish everything. We ordered the daily menu (starter + main course + dessert). I liked everything, including my girlfriend's. The atmosphere is okay, normal, tables, some decorations, unisex bathroom, but very clean. When we went it was about to close, so there was only one server and no other customers, even so it took a while to serve us (she was preparing things for closing). We were served by a friendly Brazilian girl. It was worth it.

17/02/2026: Very disappointed with our visit on 14/02/26. We arrived as a group of four with a reservation for 8:30 pm. No problem there, we were seated immediately. We waited about 15 minutes to order (acceptable on Valentine's Day). The waitress, although very pleasant, made the mistake of taking our order for drinks, starters, and main courses without writing them down (only one set menu was offered). This might not have been a problem if our order had been given to the kitchen... because we did receive our drinks and starters (the starter consisted of industrial charcuterie, except perhaps for the fish rillettes which were good; the cocktail was mainly composed of a very sweet soda, frozen fruit, and, for some unknown reason, raw sugar at the bottom which didn't even melt). After an hour's wait (9:45 pm), another very pleasant waitress came to see us and asked if we had received our main courses. I told her no, but that we had already ordered an hour ago and hadn't received anything since. So she took our order again, and after another 30-minute wait (10:15 PM), we finally got our food! Great!… Three out of the four dishes (two plates of suckling pig and one cod) were completely cold, not lukewarm, really cold. We pointed this out to the waitress, who took the dishes back and sent them to the kitchen. I'm sure they were reheated in the microwave because everything came back hot but dried out… quite a disappointment. My piece of beef, which arrived hot, was, in my opinion, not very good quality because it was full of gristle; half of it went back to the kitchen… We then waited for dessert because it was included in the price of the set menu… another 40-minute wait for someone to take our dessert order. And the surprise: it was all frozen… Another huge disappointment, because Portugal has so much more to offer in terms of pastries than a ridiculous 4cm diameter defrosted cheesecake with two tiny grapes on the plate… At €69 per person, eating vacuum-packed deli meats, frozen fries, cold or dry fish/meat, and a frozen dessert is painful. When it came time to pay, the woman asked us if everything was alright. Honestly, I told her it was a long wait, and she said, "That's just how it is, we can't do anything about it." I was expecting at least a "Yes, please excuse us." We certainly won't be back, and we won't be giving the place any good reviews.
