26/06/2026: The best burgers in Clermont-Ferrand. I've been enjoying the Cantal and thyme burger for years. I love it so much that I can never bring myself to try the others! (Actually, I have occasionally given in to the "So British," which is also amazing). The fries are delicious, and the owners are always lovely!

04/10/2026: I ordered three dishes, and found steel wool in the first one. I asked the waiter to return it, and they agreed and took it away. However, when it came time to pay, they suddenly said they could only refund one-third of the price. Are they charging two-thirds for a dish I only ate one bite of? The restaurant's hygiene was appalling; the tables were covered in grease. The waiters were also rude, acting as if the customers owed them money. And every time I order takeout, the dry pot chicken is burnt. The restaurant claims the black meat isn't burnt; is it edible charcoal? It tastes bitter, and they refuse to refund me?

24/09/2026: An ideal hotel, perfect for exploring Clermont and its surroundings. Very well located on Place de Jaude, with convenient paid parking right next door. The decor is unique, understated, and elegant. The breakfast is generous and excellent. The restaurant meals are also of very high quality. And to top it all off, the staff (in every position!) are attentive, friendly, helpful, smiling, and responsive. A big thank you, and please keep up the great work! An address to remember and recommend!

07/09/2026: Honestly, I believe it is an outstanding quality for the price restaurant. I paid 25 euros for the duck burguer and a dessert. Let's say it was a lot of food. Even though they forgot to tell me that the burguer was not on lafourchette s discount it didn't matter because it was already fairly priced at 19 euros. I recommend the restaurant. Veronique, the chef, is kind and serving some fairly priced food.

05/09/2026: The welcome was warm, and the portions were good, including the duck confit burger and frog legs. However, I wasn't given the promised 30% discount. The restaurant owner refused to budge because we had ordered à la carte dishes, but they were called "the must-haves." To get the 30% discount, we had to order dishes from the "summer menu" only... It's a matter of semantics... I told her that in the restaurant business, there are two possibilities: set menus where there are no discounts, and à la carte dishes which should be eligible. I deplore and regret this anti-business practice of trapping customers like this. She wasn't a fairy godmother, and as they say, what's "fairy godmothered" is no longer needed! Beware of this scam. In the end, there was no gesture of goodwill, and her only response was that she would end the partnership with TheFork. It's regrettable, especially since she's the one taking the money from the customers...

13/10/2026: We came on a Tuesday at lunchtime with my mom and my colleague, and it was a real treat for our taste buds! 😍🇵🇹 It felt like we were transported to Portugal for the duration of a meal, with flavors that took us on a journey. Thank you so much for this delicious experience; we will definitely be back! 😊

19/08/2026: Royal Kebab is the best kebab in Clermont. Everything is good, the kebab meat is the best—not too sweet, flavorful, tender, and grilled all at once. Their tacos are perfect, as are the fries. The service is fast and efficient, the kitchen is clean, and the welcome is warm as soon as you walk in. Thank you, this kebab deserves 5 stars!

16/05/2026: Still as delicious as ever after 30 years! We thoroughly enjoyed the makizushi, sushi, torikatsu, and vegetarian ramen 👌 The desserts were also delicious: red bean paste tiramisu, financiers, and matcha cookies.

24/04/2026: I love it! Fresh, French, and homemade products, cooked with care—I've been enjoying them every lunchtime for years now. The restaurant itself is well laid out and pleasant. And the added bonus is Stéphane, who is always smiling and welcoming to customers. These homemade pastries are to die for! I could go on and on, but the best thing is for you to come and see for yourself; you won't be disappointed! The quality and price are excellent considering the quality of the products and the restaurant's location.
