27/02/2026: I discovered this hidden gem while searching for an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. It's run by a very kind and pleasant French-Sri Lankan couple. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious curry rice. The cuisine is clearly adapted to French palates. But if you like spicy food, don't hesitate to let the owners know: they'll prepare a hot sauce that perfectly complements any dish on the menu. I loved every moment. What a shame I didn't have time to go back during my stay! I highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: We've been ordering from New Funk for years and are always just as satisfied! The menu is varied and everything is delicious! Especially their "sauve blanche," it's amazing. The manager is friendly and the place is very clean. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but hey, it's Clermont!

16/12/2025: Excellent restaurant on Place des Carmes in Clermont-Ferrand! Le Choucas is a must-visit. The food is very good, homemade, and made with quality ingredients. Philippe, Anna-Belle, and Sophie are simply wonderful: a warm welcome, smiles, and good humor are always present. The quiches are delicious, there's something for everyone, and they're always flavorful and generous. The sandwiches are well-balanced, well-filled, and perfect for a proper meal. Special mention for their brilliant reinvention with the salmon and chicken poke bowls, ideal for a quick 10-minute lunch without sacrificing quality. 30/12/2025: Excellent brasserie! Despite our late arrival and lack of a reservation, even though the place was full, they found us two seats. The meal was very good, made with quality ingredients. The service was a little slow, but that's to be expected on December 25th. 😁
