28/07/2026: Thursday evening... Drinks with a friend. Very friendly welcome. Knowing I was new to Clermont-Ferrand, Lionel and his friend went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After dinner, we came back to finish the evening with the karaoke night, and wow... What a night! Great atmosphere, fantastic clientele, and amazing staff. Truly a must-visit spot. Thanks again to everyone for this incredible time!

From the cocktail hour to the meal, it was truly delicious, with exceptionally high-quality meat. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and all our guests loved it and showered us with compliments. Beyond the meal, we truly appreciated the kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism of the entire team. 05/09/2026: I tried Comptoir des Saveurs in Clermont-Ferrand and overall it's a very good place. The concept is all about surprise, since the dishes depend on the day's market offerings. The cuisine is truly refined, the ingredients are expertly prepared, and the restaurant is mindful of allergies and dietary restrictions, which is reassuring. The atmosphere is simple, a bit subdued, and the service was pleasant and professional. However, you sometimes get the impression of finding similar dishes from one visit to the next, even if they are reworked with different ingredients. In short, a reliable choice for quality and dietary needs, but one that might benefit from offering a bit more culinary variety over the seasons or from year to year.

26/09/2026: Excellent burgers! My son and I ordered a Bougnat and a Volcano, both fantastic, and the fries were excellent too. The waitresses and owner were very professional and welcoming. A wide selection of beers—thanks for the IPA recommendation!

26/09/2026: As luck would have it, the welcome was fantastic. I was traveling and looking for a place to eat after having a beer at the Iris Pub across the street, and I ended up here. The burger was high quality, made with local ingredients, and I thoroughly enjoyed it on the terrace. Okay, the fries weren't exactly up north, but the burger was delicious. The cherry on top was a complimentary drink before leaving – honestly, it was top-notch, especially with burgers made with local cheeses. I really loved it, I highly recommend it.

08/10/2026: Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this restaurant. My partner and I were really looking forward to eating there, as we had enjoyed it so much the first time. To our great surprise, our order wasn't taken until 30 minutes after we arrived around 8:15 pm. We still hadn't been served after an hour and fifteen minutes. Yet there were only four tables occupied (including ours) in the dining room! We can't judge the quality of the food since we didn't see any of it: at 10 pm, we still hadn't been served; our order had only just been sent to the kitchen after all that time! Seeing the waiters and the cook chatting at the bar, we decided to leave the restaurant, going home hungry. It was a huge disappointment!

04/10/2026: This is a really great brasserie in Clermont-Ferrand! The food and desserts are excellent, the terrace on Place de la Victoire is very pleasant, and the service is perfect, with smiles (and sometimes laughter) from the staff. We had a wonderful time.

28/08/2026: As always, a very pleasant place, superb cuisine. The cooking and seasoning were perfect. We had a very good time. A minor point about the dessert: I ordered the tartlet and only received half a slice. A bit of a shame, as the other two desserts at the table were very generous. It slightly unbalanced the experience at the end. I will gladly return, but I hope this point will be rectified.
