26/06/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about, it's practically perfect. Impeccable. My wife and I had an unforgettable time at Le Chardonnay. The dishes were perfectly executed with wonderful new flavors, the wine list was carefully curated, and the service was impeccable. A lovely restaurant in an exceptional setting at the foot of Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral. The price was fair and reasonable. We'll be back and we'll definitely recommend it. 👌

07/06/2026: We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close, but they still served us very kindly and we were able to enjoy a wonderful meal in true French bistro style. The menu was concise but exquisite. As we arrived at the end of lunch service, some of the things we ordered were sold out. They offered us delicious alternatives and compensated us, although it wasn't necessary, by offering us complimentary wine. The dessert, a Paris-Brest with mushroom caramel sauce, was delightful. The coffee was accompanied by mini financiers and blackcurrant jellies. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and we will definitely return if we are ever in Clermont-Ferrand.

07/06/2026: I was only in town briefly and wanted to grab a bite to eat at short notice, and this restaurant was the only one that had a table available. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. My server, who may also have been the owner, was very friendly and explained everything to me in English. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The value for money is very good.

30/05/2026: A lovely family meal. The welcome was very pleasant, with a few jokes thrown in. We tried the chicken curry menu, which allowed us to sample everything – a real treat! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the spices were subtle, and the prawns were a little overcooked for my taste (that's just my opinion). We finished with hibiscus, cinnamon (absolutely divine), and ginger ice cream. All this at a reasonable price, and the cook introduced us to the spices, making for a lovely shared experience. I highly recommend it if you're willing to take your time.

24/04/2026: I love it! Fresh, French, and homemade products, cooked with care—I've been enjoying them every lunchtime for years now. The restaurant itself is well laid out and pleasant. And the added bonus is Stéphane, who is always smiling and welcoming to customers. These homemade pastries are to die for! I could go on and on, but the best thing is for you to come and see for yourself; you won't be disappointed! The quality and price are excellent considering the quality of the products and the restaurant's location.
