20/08/2026: Last year we went to this restaurant and said we'd never come back. The reason was that we ordered four set menus for about €15 per person, but ended up having to pay €150. This year, we went again as a couple because no other restaurant was open. When I ordered a set menu on my own and my wife didn't, the owner, in a fit of rage, cleared away the cutlery and plates, leaving the cutlery on the floor. Two points about the cheese platter: according to the server, it was included in the set menu. At the till, the owner charged us €6.50 for it. In hindsight, I should have taken pictures of our cheese platter and the ones on the locals' tables. There were four measly slices of cheese on our plate, while the other tables had generous, large portions. It seems to us that if you don't speak much French, you're at a disadvantage. The menu was delivered so quickly that it was impossible to keep up, and there was no consideration for our status as tourists. Friendliness was completely absent. When we pointed out the extra charge for the cheese platter, the owner became choleric again. He shouted after us, "Good luck!" Conclusion: For locals, the restaurant might be satisfactory, friendly, and good, but caution is advised for tourists and those who don't speak French well and can't ask questions.
