Orange et Chocolat
Anglet

Musique bien trop forte.
Excessivement cher pour les plats proposés
On ne reviendra pas

Cafe la Brulerie
Anglet
07/12/2024: One star is a very good rating, if we could rate it negatively it would correspond to the reality of this cafe. Second attempt since a certain personnel change, and still a disastrous experience. The same team at the controls as the first time (I prefer to clarify, there may be other employees than those who were present today). I came to have a coffee, and well I had the impression of disturbing them from A to Z. From taking the order to serving I was treated to dark looks and dry and haughty words. Until payment, sideways glances and low voices make this moment of relaxation horrible. The change was thrown at me on the table, and despite the dome with the bill in which the coins were placed, some fell to the ground. Not a pardon or anything. I didn't see many people setting up, I now know why. Furthermore, unfortunately for them, I witnessed a truly scandalous scene. A couple had just settled in a corner not far from me with a cadi. Probably a break after a few purchases like most customers in a shopping center. Certainly a cadi can take up space, but these people have positioned themselves in a corner so as not to bother anyone. As soon as a member of staff, small in size with a pink top (the same person who looks at you sideways) comes furiously towards them and openly disrespects them (vulgar and aggressive remarks) when it would have been enough to Calmly ask Mr. and Mrs. to move the object of the “crime” and the story would not have happened. But no, this man in pink allows himself to directly touch the personal effects of this couple. A waiter came alongside the ''manager'' and the waitress who served me got involved and, for some reason, took the liberty of making little pushes at the gentleman, probably to act like to separate them, while there was absolutely no question of a fight or anything else, the gentleman was just trying to have a conversation with what seems to be the person in charge (man in pink).
The gentleman was fed up with being pushed to remove the arm of the waitress who then wanted to pass herself off as a victim of an attack. For what ? I don't know, being on your 'boss' side? be seen well by other customers? To that must be added insulting and inappropriate comments. If I allow myself to comment on this, it is so that this couple can provide support for this situation that they have decided to report and not just to management. This is not the first time that the lack of politeness and professionalism has been pointed out at this café. I sincerely think that they came across a charming couple, because they dropped the matter and had their coffee right next door, and that if they had come across anyone else, this gentleman would have been in a very bad posture, as well as the two other servers. I find this really sad because before, this corner was really a moment of kindness and warmth. The old staff should perhaps teach the new one how professionalism works and at the same time politeness, a notion that they perhaps did not have from a young age. I hope this changes for the good for everyone. Being in the business myself, I know very well the complicated days, the ralebols and the customers who think they are kings. Only there, it was nothing of the sort. Mr. and Mrs. were and have remained polite in the face of this misplaced abuse of power. It would be time to ask ourselves questions again. Very disappointed to have to leave this place that I loved long before....
