07/07/2026: We had barely arrived when we sat down; it was incredibly hot. We asked if the air conditioning was working, and they told us it was, but that it was hot because of the oven. 🤔 We were rushed to order, told, "We're expecting a lot of customers, you have to order quickly!" I've never seen anything like it. The menu is very varied; they should give customers time to choose. I ordered a beef dish for €22.50 with vegetables, very few fries, and no salad. My dish arrived with salad, very few vegetables, and lots of fries. 🤔 I mentioned this to the waiter. The meat, although rare, was tough to cut and full of gristle. As the daughter and granddaughter of a butcher, I've never seen such tough and tasteless meat. For the price, the choice of cut is limited. Also, the gorgonzola sauce was runny and tasteless; you'd think it had been watered down. I had to ask for another one, but it was still very bland. When I got to the till, I expressed my dissatisfaction, and the response was, "You should have said so beforehand!" 😱 In short, no gesture of goodwill to alleviate my disappointment at eating a meal lacking in flavor, especially in the sweltering heat. The Saint Laurent restaurant used to be better. Combining quality and quantity isn't something everyone can do. It's all well and good to have full tables, but if it comes at the expense of the quality of the food and the ultimately inefficient service, then... I won't be going back.

27/06/2026: A restaurant I discovered by chance. The owner and staff are really friendly and attentive to their customers. The pizzas are very generous and excellent. I highly recommend it without hesitation, 10/10! We came as a couple on Saturday, June 27th, around 12:10 pm and were served very quickly! Sincerely, Alain

29/06/2026: Quick and tasty, no complaints about the quality of the food. However, we were very disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding halal certification. We asked if the meat was halal, but the answer remained very vague. When we asked for certification, none could be provided. The manager explained that he intentionally didn't specify "halal" on the menu. Everyone can draw their own conclusions… 😏 For our part, we would have simply appreciated more clarity and transparency so that everyone could make their choice with confidence.

29/06/2026: The place and welcome were incredibly warm, you're instantly transported to Japan as soon as you walk through the door :) The front-of-house and kitchen staff are super friendly! 30/07/2026: I got the tofu wrap and it was the perfect lunch for a hot summer day. My French isn’t great but the woman working was beyond helpful and patient with me. This was the first place I ordered food from in person since being in France and it was a very pleasant experience. I love the variety of options here, I’ll definitely be returning.

15/07/2026: Today, a day off for me, I had lunch at Against the Grain and, as always, it was a truly comforting experience. The dishes are prepared with fresh, flavorful, and high-quality ingredients, all accompanied by the usual impeccable service. What a joy to be able to choose your meal in complete peace of mind, without having to decipher every line of the menu only to end up, by default, with the infamous plate of fries... A huge thank you to Alison and her entire team for their warm welcome, the welcoming atmosphere of the place, and, above all, for all these delicious meals that are as good for the body as they are for the soul. Special mention for the cinnamon roll: it's my guilty pleasure, along with the lemon meringue pie 😋 If you're looking for a place to recharge, fill up on good vibes and vitamins, go for it… you won't be disappointed!

The pizzas are simply excellent: the crust is light, perfectly crispy, and cooked to perfection, and the quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite. There's a wide variety of choices and the toppings are very generous. A big thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome and the prompt service, which was especially attentive to the children. Everyone left happy and with full stomachs. A wonderful discovery! 👏✨
