17/04/2026: I'm new to the neighborhood and, while walking past, I saw some great food. I thought I had to try it. I wasn't disappointed: it's a small neighborhood restaurant that serves delicious dishes. I had the hand-chopped steak tartare. It was divine, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

12/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to arrive at this hotel, which exceeds Novotel standards. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Well located for my needs (close to the A7/M7 motorway). But the main draw is its staff, who are always available, professional, and friendly. This week, a special mention goes to Quila and Vaïté, but the entire team (both Reception and Restaurant) deserves praise. I highly recommend this establishment.

22/06/2026: I came before the administrative closure – I was sick with my colleague in January…two more colleagues were sick later in February…it's outrageous! Even though the buffet was well-stocked, I no longer trust them, and what about the origin of the meat? What can I say? Read the article in Le Progrès.

26/07/2026: Went for brunch and the food was genuinely great – would come back for that alone. Coffee was fine, nothing special, just a solid cup. Unfortunately the service brought the experience down: our waitress was curt and seemed annoyed by basic requests... Nothing dramatic, just an unwelcoming vibe that took the shine off an otherwise good meal. Food quality is there; hoping it was an off day for the staff.

21/06/2026: Family lunch. A very pleasant experience. We received a very warm welcome. Our order was taken efficiently. The staff were skilled and efficient. The food was very good. And the tour of Lyon and the surrounding area was perfect. I recommend the Hermes restaurant boat.

We didn't encounter a single friendly person, from the moment we were greeted on the boat, where they didn't even respond to a greeting, to the table assignment where I apparently had to remember my own number. The meal itself wasn't any better in terms of atmosphere. You get the feeling you're intruding. Surprising in a service industry. Clearly, it's not a pleasant experience working on the Hermès. I don't usually write scathing reviews, but this time my patience ran out. I won't even mention the food. It was adequate, but nothing special. However, you know you're not going on a riverboat cruise, but rather to a high-end restaurant. The cruise on the Rhône and Saône rivers is pleasant.
