Les meilleurs restaurants en Verdun-Sur-Le-Doubs

19/03/2024: The withholding of information will mark my stay. No prices mentioned for drinks for the aperitif or whiskey bar section, no menu was given to us but I especially felt trapped when the only menus that were offered were... the most expensive (75 and 92€!) . While checking on the site there is indeed a less extensive and more affordable menu, or even a la carte dishes. Result: an expensive meal, much too heavy and long (order at 7 p.m., starter served at 8:15 p.m.!) and sometimes inappropriate remarks from the waiter on our ability to finish the dishes or the bread or not. It must be a nice table but I feel like I was trapped and the experience was not the most pleasant. What remains is a beautiful exterior setting and a pretty living room.

04/04/2024: We were there at a rainy Friday evening with the whole family. They found a spot for us even without prior reservation. A cute and rustic place. At first we weren't so sure about the service as the greeting did not feel too warm. This soon changed though as the single waiter/ owener was very very kind, patient and attentative. The food was good as well (even the kids finished their plates) and we were offered a digestif that was AMAZING. Be aware, menu is in French and the waiter speaks mostly French too, giving this restaurant also a very local vibe. But all tables around us (all foreigners) managed well and since the waiter/ owner is very patient eventually everybody gets what they want. I'd go again any time!

02/04/2024: Very good time sharing very good cuisine served with a smile and cheerfulness. A good dialogue with the chef at the end of the meal. Possibility of purchasing wines and spirits after consultation with the chef. To renew without problem.
