Le Caveau De Verdun sur Verdun-Sur-Le-Doubs

We were there at a rainy Friday evening with the whole family. They found a spot for us even without prior reservation. A cute and rustic place. At first we weren't so sure about the service as the greeting did not feel too warm. This soon changed though as the single waiter/ owener was very very kind, patient and attentative. The food was good as well (even the kids finished their plates) and we were offered a digestif that was AMAZING. Be aware, menu is in French and the waiter speaks mostly French too, giving this restaurant also a very local vibe. But all tables around us (all foreigners) managed well and since the waiter/ owner is very patient eventually everybody gets what they want. I'd go again any time!

Very good time sharing very good cuisine served with a smile and cheerfulness. A good dialogue with the chef at the end of the meal. Possibility of purchasing wines and spirits after consultation with the chef. To renew without problem.

Dans un cadre simple, une adresse qu'il vaut connaître pour trouver. Mais ensuite c est une très bonne surprise. Outre l'accueil très sympathique teinté d'humour, nous avons découvert une cuisine locale extrêmement savoureuse. C'était délicieux...et copieu. A recommander.
