I haven't eaten there, but I've often had drinks after skiing, and it's so pleasant to enjoy the last rays of sunshine! The staff are always very friendly and efficient! There's never been a wait to take our orders, even though our tables were forming as we went.

Hotel La Cle des Champs

14/03/2026: Stay at La Clé des Champs / Gîte du Moulin de Marie as part of a UCPA training course. A wonderful welcome, comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast with fresh, local products and homemade yogurt, and delicious dinners. Located a little below the ski slopes, but in a quiet and charming area with a small chapel nearby. The owner and her family are fantastic! Highly recommended.
03/01/2026: A comfortable and well-maintained small Savoyard hotel. Located in a quiet area close to the ski lifts (Vieux Moulin gondola).
The rooms are up to 3-star standards, clean and well-appointed.
The food is simple yet high-quality. Breakfast includes homemade yogurt and jams, a hot drinks machine, artisanal fruit juices, fresh bread and pastries from the bakery, cheese and charcuterie platters, a fruit basket, and a cereal bar.
Dinner features a starter, main course, and dessert, most of which are homemade.
In conclusion: our stay at La Clé des Champs was a great experience!

06/12/2025: We went in the summer, on our way home from the Alps by motorbike... The place isn't luxurious, but the setting is unique. Absolute tranquility. Very clean and comfortable shared bathrooms. Our room had a bathtub and sink. Many thanks to Teo for his hospitality. We arrived in our rain gear completely soaked, and he let us undress in the lounge, where it was nice and warm from the fireplace.

28/01/2026: A great place to eat in Val-Cenis. The fondues, tartiflettes, bavette steak, and fish and chips were delicious and generous portions. The restaurant owner is also a great shopkeeper. I highly recommend it.

16/09/2024: Passing through Mont Cenis for a tour in an Audi TT with our club, we reserved the evening in the restaurant La vielle poste.
A great restaurant and a superb team!
Meal more than generous and excellent value for money. The staff is there for you!
It was so good that we booked breakfast the next day and we weren't disappointed either. We were able to taste honey from Poland, cold meats and pastries....

17/09/2024: Di passaggio ritornando in Italia ci siamo fermati per un caffè (anche molto buono)...ci ha accolti una gentile e socievole signora vestita in costume tipico che ci ha intrattenuti con curiosità e cenni storici...il posto è molto carino e pieno di storia....la signora ci ha raccontato che il colle del Moncenisio si trova esattamente alla stessa distanza da Parigi, Roma, Monaco e Barcellona mostrandoci anche foto storiche della zona. Poco più a valle, verso il versante italiano, c'è una costruzione a forma di piramide (oggi è una chiesetta) costruita per commemorare la campagna d'Egitto di Napoleone..

30/06/2025: I had lunch at Gran Scala during a trip to the lake. A no-frills place where you can breathe an authentic atmosphere. Very friendly staff, the waiters speak fluent English, Italian, French and German and are very kind. The cuisine is tasty, mountain dishes with local products, well cooked and with generous portions. The price for the area and the offer is more than fair; two first courses, a second course, a dessert and water around €40. I recommend stopping if you are in the area and want to eat.

30/04/2024: Very good bakery, the products are fresh, of very good quality and homemade, you can see the artisans working at any time of the day as you walk past the shop... no fuss, everything is made on site.
A large selection of pastries, seasonal products, there is something for everyone.
The welcome is friendly, the team takes care of you from very early in the morning to late in the evening!
Small bonus is the restaurant area and tea room where gourmets can eat on site.
I highly recommend, stop by, you will not be disappointed.
The regulars are not mistaken and the parade of customers is incessant from the morning, a sign that is unmistakable 😀
22/03/2024: I have been coming to this exceptional bakery for years! Especially for the moskato, a big thank you, one of the best cakes for the treat of one or more people… the waitresses are very friendly unlike the comments seen previously….
