27/03/2024: Second year in Val Thorens on a ski holiday at Easter and second year that we have this restaurant on the slopes as an obligatory stop. From the hamburgers to the omelette, to the menus and not forgetting the desserts, everything is delicious. The service and attention very good. We will repeat!
25/03/2024: This place is amazing, awesome food.
We came back 5 days in a row.
We tried several Entrees, all were done to perfection.
Beer is top notch, so is the service.

26/04/2024: Warm restaurant for the decoration despite the tables being quite crowded. Good overall but service and staff that leaves something to be desired, no approach to the customer (no questions) a very salty bill and not even a small digestive offered (no we are not rapia but a minimum to perhaps retain customer loyalty) . We were the last at the restaurant, their thanks was to make us understand in one way or another that we had to leave quickly...! Too bad we will never come back.
13/04/2024: We had a very good evening. Fondue, burger and meat a delight
And top quality/price
The only downside is the mixed salad, a little expensive for my taste.

12/04/2024: The dishes taste good. The prices are reasonable and don't forget the little extras like bread and salad included. The waitresses are very cheerful, but they prefer to talk among themselves instead of keeping an eye on the room. We play rock like Red Hot Chili Peppers etc very well.

06/05/2024: I was here for closing season 2013, returned this year for another closing of the season 2024. At La Grange, expect very good food. As in 2013, same counts for 2024. If it's good it stays good with same owners. Just take the daily menu and let the staff suprise you. You wont be disappointed.
03/05/2024: SURCOTÉ en tout cas pour les pizzas. Calzone ouverte oeuf cuit/dur, 4 champignons qui se battent en duel, casi pas de base tomate, pâte à peine cuite et toute dure/sèche, on appelle ca se nourir mais aucun plaisir, quand on ne sait pas faire on retire de la carte. Est ce que c'est parce que c est la fin de la saison? Je ne réitererai pas.

09/09/2024: Pleasant and beautiful discovery on this first weekend of September where almost everything is closed except the marmot table.
Warm place where life is good,
Great staff, attentive and very friendly.
The home cooking delighted our taste buds.
A big congratulations, don't hesitate to open the door of this restaurant, we recommend
04/09/2024: Very warm welcome, little touches for the dog, service with a smile, we enjoyed ourselves both at lunchtime with the daily menu and in the evening with the Savoyard fondue!
We will come back for sure!

01/05/2024: Ordered the Pierrade for 2 persons, which was a first for both of us and we had more than enough food. The sauces were incredible, generous portions, fresh ingredients, and an enjoyable experience to share. Quirky cabin decor, that felt cozy and whimsical.
As an English speaker it was easy and experienced good service- friendly, accommodating and no pressure. We walked in on a whim and luckily got a spot- it was a busy restaurant and quickly understood why. So happy we chanced upon this spot!
20/04/2024: Very cool authentic restaurant with a good vibe and very nice interior design and cultural atmosphere. As a vegan I did not have a good experience but the rest said the food was good. They definitely need to up their game in the vegan dishes for vegans to enjoy as well as the rest of the people who eat cheese and meat. Staff was very friendly and nice.

12/05/2024: Very nice restaurant! Staff is super friendly, helpful and providing good service. Also the foods and drinks are good. We went here for lunch, dinner and drinks multiple times during our holiday. Really enjoyed it all!!
06/05/2024: Cool spot on the Val Thorens slopes and close to the party tent for the (children's) disco. Delicious snack to a complete meal and delicious champagne! Place to be!!!

13/05/2024: 6 of us had take away burgers ,quite simply we all agreed we were robbed ,we paid full menu prices for take aways that were wet , soggy and cold , clearly they had been prepared well in advance of collection, from 6 boxs ,we threw 2 whole boxs away never again

19/01/2025: Great music! Especially for the dutch a really good place to go out
19/01/2025: Very good atmosphere in the unmistakably Dutch après ski shop. It remains a mystery why the DJ only plays all the tracks for less than a minute and then switches to the next track even though the mood is boiling over. That seems a bit hectic.
There is no entry fee, but the Kronenberger 0.5 liter beer costs a whopping €10. Payment is commendably only by card 👍

09/05/2024: Wow, this steakhouse restaurant is really good. We've had to come back 2 times during our stay. The service, the meat and their desserts are very good, kind personell. That comes at a cost however, so be prepared to spend.

13/12/2024: An exceptional experience at the Chalet des 2 Ours! The cuisine is delicious, the dishes are generous and prepared with care. The setting is magnificent and warm, perfect for having a good time. Nico, the owner, is welcoming, attentive and passionate. It’s a must-see place, we will come back without hesitation!
