19/07/2026: This restaurant has a very warm atmosphere, even if the access, located on the roadside with a small parking lot, isn't the most convenient. However, the welcome is excellent: the service is quick and always accompanied by a smile.
The menu showcases Savoyard specialties, featuring quality local products. As for the desserts, I would have appreciated a bit more flair.
The prices are reasonable for the region and the prime lakeside location, but you have to know what you want in terms of lakeside location and view.
In short, we had a very pleasant time.
18/07/2026: A fantastic welcome, the staff are super friendly, and the food is amazing! We had a ribeye steak which was simply excellent. I can't wait for our next visit, I'm already drooling! 🤤

06/08/2026: A truly unique restaurant with all its cuckoo clocks, a warm welcome, and a magnificent view of the lake. Undoubtedly the best menu of any waterfront restaurant, with a varied selection to please every member of the family. Bravo!
06/08/2026: We came on August 3rd for my mother's birthday.
Everything was going well until we started taking our orders.
The waitress came to ask if we had chosen our main courses.
She took notes in a random order and then made a frankly inappropriate remark in a very haughty tone when my daughter told her she wanted an appetizer.
Waitress: "(sighs) YOU COULDN'T HAVE SAID ABOUT APPETIZERS EARLIER!" We started with the people at the end of the table who didn't want any.
Luckily, we then got the owner, I imagine, who was lovely and saved our evening and removed the bitter taste from this experience.

22/07/2026: We were there because the area was blocked by the Tour de France, and it was the only restaurant open at the time. We don't regret going! The food was very good, served with a smile, and the cyclists arriving created a great atmosphere!
The only slight downside was the price of the drinks.
Otherwise, the value for money for the dishes was very good and generous.
21/07/2026: Impeccable service and the two separate tartares, beef and salmon, were well-seasoned, along with very good fries and lamb's lettuce salad with a mild vinaigrette. The sauce for the fries was plentiful and a well-known brand. The gourmet coffee was very good and varied. I support this restaurant, which is 40 years old and has been owned by the current owners for 20 years. It's an address where quality, freshness of products, and friendliness are the essence of this restaurant. These kinds of gems are rare these days and deserve a lunch or dinner where you leave feeling full and satisfied. I will gladly return. Very beautiful view of the largest natural lake in France, Lake Bourget. Well done to the team! Keep up the good work! See you soon! J.

03/05/2026: I had eaten there before and I'm delighted to have returned.
30 years of longevity for this restaurant is no coincidence! The food is delicious and perfectly spiced. The service is prompt and discreet.
A truly excellent place!
29/03/2026: One Saturday evening, we were initially surprised that the restaurant didn't serve alcohol, but that's not a big deal, just surprising. However, the waiter was combing his hair behind the bar, barely looked at us, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was icy. The food wasn't great either: the biryani was mushy, the chicken tikka was bland… in short, we ate quickly and left. We won't be going back.

14/06/2026: We each ordered couscous. I chose the set menu with meat for €15. I asked the waitress if I could choose the meat I wanted and opted for lamb shank, thinking it was one of the available options. When it came time to pay, I was unpleasantly surprised to be charged €22. I found this misleading, as I was never informed of an additional charge.
As for the couscous itself, we were very disappointed. It was bland, the semolina was mushy, and the vegetables seemed to have been steamed and then simply added to a tasteless, very watery broth.
It was our first time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.
21/05/2026: While passing through France, we enjoyed a delicious couscous at a reasonable price; the portions were generous. The place is unique and the service impeccable. We will gladly return. Pura vida

16/12/2023: The dishes are correct and homemade, but it is not exceptional either and even rather standard. Someone will have to explain to me the small sweet crepe at 5 Euros without presentation for a manufacturing cost of 18 cents, the rather mid-range pizzas, the small chocolate fondant at 8E50. Without forgetting that the rations are identical for children (much too big for them) and identical prices. And the waitresses unable to communicate with each other with the unpleasant effect of having to say things twice to get what we asked for. Finally the timing: 1 hour for the main course, 1 hour for dessert. As much as the first hour doesn't bother me, the second is exaggerated, we hesitated to leave it there. However, on this August evening there were not many people. It is clear that I will not return. Go on your way... tourist trap (and what's more, I'm not one).

15/09/2024: Lieu splendide, vue exceptionnelle, plats excellents avec des saveurs incroyables. Quelques déficiences dans le service (eau et pain non suivis), trop long (4h à table), avec un chien pénible à la table voisine. Dommage car ça reste quand même incomparable !
12/09/2024: Le lieu est agréable et le service de qualité. En revanche et c'est devenu l'usage chez les étoilés aucun choix possible, chacun est obligé de choisir le même menu et oui le client n'est plus roi. Mais le pire est que ni mon épouse ni moi n'avons prit du plaisir sur aucun des plats. Beaucoup trop d'epices qui altère le gout (gingembre, piment entre autre) un petit cube de viande presque imangeable (gout prononcé de fumé et de sel) en face de nous une dame agéé faisant triste mine en tentant d'avaler une bouchée de cette même viande ! Bref cela ressemble plus à de la chimie qu'a de la cuisine

09/11/2024: Pas le temps de lire la carte, on vous saute dessus pour prendre votre commande, salle très froide sans chauffage,tant par la déco triste et hygiène douteuse. Serveur débraillé, cheveux ébouriffés, tenue vestimentaire laissant à désirer. Plat du jour médiocre à 20€!!! On s'est arrêté là, on a évité le dessert qui nous semblait du même acabit !!!!m

29/02/2024: Restaurant en bord de lac avec une jolie vue. Accueil chaleureux, rythme du service adapté pour profiter, ni trop long ni trop rapide. Reblochonnade avec des produits de qualité presque trop copieuse. Une pour deux pourrait suffire. Nous recommandons à 200%.
