A must-try if you're visiting Aix-les-Bains!! Magnificent inside and out, with exquisitely tasteful decor!! The restaurant lives up to its name, and a special mention goes to the original "goodbye"—I'll leave that as a surprise!! As for the food, it's every bit as good as the rest! We had Berthoud and Cordon Bleu...prepared with top-quality ingredients! The St. Genix and crème brûlée for dessert were also excellent! The welcome and service are on par with everything else! Parking nearby and a beautiful view of the lake... A truly wonderful experience for us...Thank you!!

A lovely time as a couple. We had the porcini mushroom fondue. It was very generous, with a charcuterie platter and salad. The fondue was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous meal here, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is amazing. The only downside was that we all ended up with mosquito bites as it is open to the elements and we had a thunderstorm whilst we were there. Otherwise I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience at Le Coucou! The waitress was very friendly and had a great sense of humor! The warm atmosphere and a nice little surprise after the bill made this restaurant an obvious choice!

19/07/2026: This restaurant has a very warm atmosphere, even if the access, located on the roadside with a small parking lot, isn't the most convenient. However, the welcome is excellent: the service is quick and always accompanied by a smile. The menu showcases Savoyard specialties, featuring quality local products. As for the desserts, I would have appreciated a bit more flair. The prices are reasonable for the region and the prime lakeside location, but you have to know what you want in terms of lakeside location and view. In short, we had a very pleasant time.
18/07/2026: A fantastic welcome, the staff are super friendly, and the food is amazing! We had a ribeye steak which was simply excellent. I can't wait for our next visit, I'm already drooling! 🤤

22/08/2026: Kind gentleman stayed open past their normal closing time to serve us delicious salads with a great view of the lake! 😃
15/08/2026: First experience at this restaurant in the middle of August. We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. However, the price of the non-alcoholic cocktail without ice (during the heatwave) was excessive (€8), and the portions were small for the price. We didn't bother ordering dessert, for fear of paying too much. I do not recommend this restaurant.
