17/04/2024: Very good all-you-can-eat buffet in Rouen. The restaurant is very large and the decoration is magnificent, even the background music is good and very calm. The conveyor belt with the food crosses the entire room however when we are at the back of the room, by the time the food arrives, the customers have already taken everything…. The employees are really very nice and we can see them in other fujiya. One of them actually recognized us when we ate in one of the restaurants in Rouen. They are also very welcoming and kind, they took photos of the customers because they wanted to have a photo of their passage through the restaurant, the commercial gesture should be noted!! The employees gave us a price when we went to the checkout and that should also be noted!! Small downside: the price. Even if I understand the economic situation, the prices are still quite high… I recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy a good all-you-can-eat buffet in Rouen with plenty of space and a very calm atmosphere.

12/05/2024: Super nice restaurant in the old cobbled streets of Rouen. We ate very well there, the burgers are excellent, the bread is homemade, the fries too and the burger toppings are seasonal. There is a lot of choice and composition of burgers but also other specialties like Chili con carne, Hot dogs or meats… Go there with your eyes closed and you will not be disappointed.

13/04/2024: Honestly not excited about this place. We were cold throughout the meal, no entrance, the door opens outwards and as there are steps, customers leave the door open for a while to enter or exit. The setting is welcoming and the service remains a service, if you don't finish your plates, the staff pays less attention to you. The price is clearly exaggerated compared to what you have on your plates, small quantity and we think we had things defrosted. Starter: perfect egg normally served on a smoked bacon espuma, in reality it was a perfect egg bathed in a very salty liquid bacon cream accompanied by very very oiled frying.... dish not finished. Main course: Snacked scallops on white pudding and small crunchy vegetables, dishes served cold, white pudding glazed to the core, scallops barely snakked dripping with water when cut, small crunchy vegetables, a red radish cut into 4... ..unfinished dish, tasteless scallops or scallops can be defrosted. Dessert: chocolate cake accompanied by a scoop of ice cream, inedible, upper and lower biscuit making up the soggy cake, biscuit was perhaps not of the day. The plates are well presented, but all that does not justify the price; 60€ for two meals + 10€ for a single aperitif is really too expensive. You can find better without going far. Too bad because reading the comments, we were happy to go to this restaurant for lunch, maybe we didn't happen on the right day..

We had a steak, perfectly cooked and a burger cooked medium rare also perfectly cooked. The chips (not fries) were home made, skin on and delicious. Portion size is generous. Very good value for money.

06/04/2024: We had a great time at La Marmite. The dishes are excellent, refined, and very tasty. Lots of subtleties from appetizer to dessert. The dishes are divinely well presented by the host. We will return with great pleasure.

I ask them if taking a cookie off the menu is the same as taking the cookie on the menu (at the same price) and I am assured several times that yes it is the same price (2€50 off the menu) whereas if I take it from the menu it goes from 11.90 to 14.90 (i.e. 3€). Simple math that is apparently too complicated... I'm made to look like an idiot... I love it. In addition, I ask for the supplement (70 cents) by taking the 3 tacos menu if I can vary and take 2 guacamole tacos and 1 chorizo ​​tacos so that it only amounts to one supplement. They tell me yes and finally they charge me 2 supplements?? Chorizo ​​+ guacamole? So put chorizo ​​+ guacamole on all my tacos, right? In short, a deaf speech with employees who remain in their positions even when we kindly explain to them that we do not understand and who seem more than annoyed that I am trying to understand... Despite all this it was still good I recommend (but don't ask too many questions about the final price)
