But certainly the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere—I would almost say: it was extraordinarily fun with the locals!! We sat outside on the terrace with drinks. Highly recommended! The food is very good, the meat and fish are of good quality and served with a variety of side dishes. The price is reasonable.
Reservations aren't necessary if you're a party of two or four, but if you're a larger group, I recommend making a reservation just in case.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant is calm, waiters are nice and the food here is excellent! One of the best inden places of Montreuil if you want to be full. You can count ~ 15-20e for a main course and a naan, and ~ 20-30e if you want deserts and drinks (go drink those fabulous Laasi, Rose especially)

05/08/2026: This little neighborhood restaurant has become my go-to spot. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is impeccable. I love coming here for the daily bowl, a cappuccino, homemade iced tea, or a brookie… everything is perfect.
Thank you for this little gem of Montreuil life, a place we love to come back to again and again…
Special mention for the burrito with its homemade fries… absolutely divine! 🤤
27/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome. We had a table of 14 without a reservation, and yet we were greeted with smiles and served with a smile. The food was plentiful and delicious.

30/09/2026: One star for the bike repair service. At least for their reception.
The reception area is located under the "no appointment necessary" sign. There are four of us. I wait in line for almost an hour. No problem since I don't have an appointment. When it's my turn, the woman asks, "Are there any people with appointments?" And instead of someone else coming to help her under the "by appointment" sign, she simply moves to another spot!

The staff is truly fantastic: welcoming, helpful, and attentive.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a decor reminiscent of a classic bistro. The bar is unique, the tables and chairs have seen generations of patrons, and the terrace is lovely. And the food? What can I say? Delicious and authentic. Le Bar Du Marché, a wonderful place to share with all bistro lovers.
