24/05/2026: A great discovery for a true Amiens native. This was our first time eating at Les Marronniers; the service was impeccable, and the couscous was excellent. My wife and I were delighted with this gastronomic experience. We will return to try other dishes that looked tempting when they were served at other tables. Highly recommended.

Sabine is a vibrant, down-to-earth person, always positive and full of helpful advice. We trusted them completely with our wedding, and everything was perfect, from the cocktail hour to the meal and even dessert… we received nothing but compliments! The service was impeccable, the servers were so friendly and attentive, both to us and our guests. Her husband was in the kitchen, and everything was excellent; our guests were delighted. 05/05/2026: We hired Duo Traiteur for our wedding after reading the many positive reviews online, and we absolutely do not regret our choice! Sabine and Nicolas were fantastic from start to finish. They were truly attentive from our initial contact a year and a half before the wedding, right up to the last day. And what can we say about their team? They were incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for anything during the cocktail hour or the meal, as everything was perfectly organized. All our guests confirmed this, including at the post-wedding brunch the following day: everything was impeccable. Special mention goes to the carved ham, which was a huge hit, as well as the kindness and professionalism of all the waitresses. As soon as we need a caterer again, we won't hesitate for a second to use them. A huge thank you to the entire team!

02/05/2026: We finally tried this little restaurant and left absolutely delighted!!! From the atmosphere to the quality of the food, everything was perfect! The place is admittedly a bit dated, but this was more than made up for by the warm welcome and the excellent couscous we were served. As a bonus, we had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people: the waiter, the owner, and his sister, who are all very pleasant! We'll be back soon to try the tagines 🥰

If by chance your travels lead you to the heart of this city, be sure to stop at the shop called "Petits Délices entre Amis" (Little Delights Among Friends). By my word, this is an address that will gladden both your stomach and your soul! In this establishment, you won't find any dishonorable fare. The owners, a couple of noble character and unparalleled kindness, offer dishes prepared with the patience of goldsmiths. Whether you are a connoisseur of fresh meat or your heart leans towards gardens and orchards, the choice is truly royal: - Flavorful meats for valiant knights; - Exquisite vegetarian dishes; - Steaming tarts, wraps, and soups, made with local produce (organic and local, of course!). And what about the sweet treats to finish off your feast? Their desserts are truly devilish temptations, impossible to resist. It's a feast for the taste buds, each bite a hymn to indulgence. Alas, like any well-kept secret, space is limited. The only drawback of this tavern is the scarcity of seats. But no matter, the quality of the food quickly erases this minor inconvenience. So hurry there, but arrive promptly if you hope to snag a spot! My rating: Five gold crowns!

23/05/2026: I spent two wonderful nights at the Hotel-Restaurant Le Vivier in Amiens, in a comfortable, quiet, and very high-quality room. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel restaurant two evenings in a row, and I was completely won over by the experience. From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent: quality ingredients, generous and flavorful portions, with real attention to detail. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, and the service was particularly pleasant. And then… the gourmet coffee truly deserves a special mention: hearty, refined, and absolutely delicious! A delightful surprise to end the meal on a high note. I would also like to highlight the kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff, who were always caring and smiling. A big thank you as well to the hotel manager for her warm welcome and kindness, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant to anyone visiting Amiens. A place where you feel good and want to come back.
