05/08/2026: I highly recommend Nicolas' chip shop; it's excellent. The atmosphere is well-organized. And don't even get me started on the bar manager, who is superb. Thank you for the delicious American-style sandwich and fries with fricadelles on the side – a real treat! I came for lunch with my brother-in-law, and we had a very pleasant time, followed by coffees to aid digestion.

I had a Savoyard-style burger with an ice-cold Jupiler beer. I highly recommend this chip shop.

05/07/2026: 12.50 for 4 nuggets, fries, and a drink! What are these crazy prices?! 4 nuggets instead of the 6 I ordered, by the way. Personally, I never go to McDonald's and I'm not about to! We really need to stop being exploited like this, especially for junk food.
25/06/2026: Order placed for delivery. Received 1 pack of 4 nuggets instead of the 6 ordered. This isn't the first time orders have been incomplete!

12/08/2026: I initially gave this restaurant on the banks of the Somme a 5 out of 5 after an incredible first visit. The menu offered few dishes, but they were of very high quality and truly generous portions.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed on my last visit. The portions have become smaller, less substantial, and the decline in quality is noticeable given the prices, marking a clear shrinkflation compared to previous years. My rating has therefore been reduced from 5 to 3, as it's a real shame for an establishment that used to be a must-try for me.

The wait time is a minimum of 15 minutes, shameful. The toilets are filthy... In short, a complete waste of time.
13/08/2026: I was very satisfied with my visit and was served quickly. Furthermore, Gaétane kindly offered me a glass of water given the intense heat.

Really bad experience with Subway. The vegetables in my takeaway sandwich were not fresh and had an unpleasant, almost rotten taste. The overall flavour was poor, and I couldn’t even enjoy the meal. Very disappointed with the quality of the food.
07/08/2026: Not only is it incredibly expensive—24 euros for a two-course meal with a drink that wasn't even cold!—but you'd be better off going to a restaurant with table service. How awful.

08/08/2026: I ordered from this restaurant on a Friday night after leaving a club. Around 4 a.m., I decided to grab a bite to round off my evening and wrap up my day. A ground beef taco with chicken tenders and white sauce cost €8. This experience was a culinary triumph, a testament to the chefs' skill. I much prefer this dish to anything considered "gastronomic." Thank you, thank you so much.
I will definitely be back to this establishment.

04/08/2026: I ordered a non-alcoholic beer. I was served a lemonade with sugar and lemon juice. The waiter claimed it was a non-alcoholic beer because the drink contained no alcohol. The staff was completely clueless. Not recommended.
26/07/2026: Expensive drinks for the lack of alcohol, and the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant (it remains to be seen if the DJ was doing a residency or not). In short, if you want good drinks, look elsewhere.

26/08/2026: Disappointed, someone else went ahead of me. The staff wasn't very welcoming, the service wasn't very professional, the drink wasn't great, and the crepe was hard all around the edge and cold.
15/08/2026: During a long three-day weekend in Amiens with my wife, we stopped at La Croustille hoping to enjoy some good ice cream. So we went outside to the ice cream counter.
Three young women were already chatting inside, completely ignoring the waiting customers. When one of them finally deigned to come over to us, I can't even describe the unpleasant look on her face, like we were bothering her. "What do you want?" she asked. "Two ice creams," we replied, and that was it—she went back inside without a word. So we gave up and went to find something better elsewhere. Avoid this place at all costs; the waitress was horrible and unpleasant.

However, the manager is quite unpleasant and pounces on customers at the first opportunity with a nonchalant air.
This approach is very uncomfortable.
I've been there several times because I don't want to be left with just one impression, but the conclusion is always the same.
It's a shame because the food is decent.
