27/08/2025: A very charming tea room; stepping inside is like opening a little window into the past. Our grandmothers' china sits proudly on the shelves, and old photographs adorn the walls. The decor is a mix of mismatched tables and chairs, but you immediately feel welcome in this warm and inviting place.
Everything is exquisite: the porcelain dishes, the chocolate cake, the hot chocolate with tonka bean… The hot chocolate is delicious, full of flavor without being cloying. The cake is also good and gluten-free. A delightful discovery for an afternoon treat in the heart of Mazamet.

17/04/2026: By far the best pizza around. A thin crust that's not too thin, a good and generous amount of toppings, and excellent seasonings (especially the parsley and garlic). The pizza maker is very friendly, and the atmosphere is charming despite the limited seating. It's a pleasant place to be while waiting for your order.

28/03/2026: We had a wonderful meal. The sweetbreads and the Charolais steak were cooked to a very tender temperature. The desserts were not too sweet and were very delicate.

As a vegetarian, I'm always a little skeptical when I don't see a specific vegetarian dish on the menu, as the alternatives are often disappointing.
But I was won over by a colorful, appetizing, and above all, delicious plate. The truffle mashed potatoes were perfectly executed! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
On the sweet side, the truffle-chocolate combination is surprising at first, but it's definitely worth trying. It's a daring mix that works wonderfully.
The value for money is excellent. Well done to the team! A place you can try without hesitation!

Le Grand Balcon is simply a wonderful discovery. The welcome is impeccable: a warm, smiling, and genuinely kind team, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, it's flawless. The dishes are flavorful, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the effort behind each plate.
Perfect for both a special occasion and a simple moment of pleasure, especially with prices that remain very reasonable for the level of quality offered.
A truly wonderful experience that I wholeheartedly recommend—I'll be back very soon!

16/01/2026: Excellent restaurant where we have visited several times, with delicious food and a top-notch welcome.
06/12/2025: The food was very good and plentiful. However, we didn't agree with the restaurant's new policy: all dishes are served in disposable containers, even if you eat in. From an environmental standpoint, I don't think that's right. It's a shame, because we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

24/04/2026: The service was excellent; it had been a long time since I'd enjoyed a fast-food meal so much. The waitress was very friendly. Great atmosphere, I'll definitely be back! However, I would love for two pastries to return: the McCrispy, which was a sort of chocolate cornflake cookie, and the Mandise. And to finish on a high note, the McBaguette. 😁😁😁 That's the perfect meal for me.

01/09/2024: Après une bonne marche pour arriver au restaurant nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli et installé sur la terrasse arrière avec une vue magnifique.
Nous avons très bien mangé une cuisine de qualité.
Service excellent nous avons passé un agréable moment.
25/08/2024: Après une bonne marche pour accéder au village, quel plaisir de déjeuner sur la terrasse!! La vue est superbe, l’accueil très chaleureux et le repas excellent!
Mention spéciale pour la croustade aux pommes, vraie madeleine de Proust pour les aveyronnais que nous sommes.
