25/03/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I'm so grateful for that chance. Everything was perfect: the warm atmosphere, the unique decor, and the delicious food. Thank you again for this wonderful escape.
21/03/2026: It had been a little over a year since we'd last eaten at Sofra. Last night, we were craving couscous, so we booked a table. To our great surprise, the atmosphere was still just as wonderful. Carine was as pleasant as ever, always smiling and funny. She recognized us right away. And the couscous? What can I say? It was as delicious and satisfying as ever, a real treat! The chef hasn't lost his touch!
I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambiance and the traditional Tunisian cuisine, which is a true delight for the taste buds!

We had a delicious and very generous Bizerte couscous.
I highly recommend it.
28/02/2026: A must-visit. Everything is excellent. There were nine of us, and we were served efficiently. A warm welcome from both the staff and the chef, who personally took our order. We will gladly return.

16/09/2025: A real treat! Le Carthage is a must-visit address in Toulon: the pastries are delicious and full of flavor, the couscous is simply wonderful, generous and perfectly spiced. You can feel the passion and expertise in every bite. Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere, we want to come back again and again. Bravo and thank you for this delicious moment!

17/03/2026: The couscous lacked flavor, and we had a nasty surprise during our meal: a 2 cm cockroach climbing the wall!
The price was really high!
07/03/2026: I got this address from one of my patients who told me it was the best couscous in Toulon. Well, it was absolutely disgusting! 🤮🤢 The chicken was undercooked, boiled, bland, and tasteless, and I paid €35 for that... Compared to the restaurant at La Garde in Marrakech, there's no contest; theirs is much better and cheaper.
