23/08/2024: Still as good, 20 years I've been coming to eat at Tamaris whenever I'm passing through the 94, and always a treat. The meat is tasty and the sandwich is well stocked. Special mention for the TIRAMISU nutella. Bravo to the 3 brothers who have managed this restaurant for so long.

20/08/2024: The welcome is pleasant, nothing to say about the hygiene, it's very clean and super good, I've made it my favorite place, I only eat at tamaris. To recommend without problem 5 stars really deserved.

16/12/2024: No interest, forced to garnish the sandwich at home, given the price it is unacceptable

04/11/2024: No matter what this restaurant is! I wait for 10 minutes for the customer before me to be served only to be told that the restaurant is closed when my turn to order arrives! Couldn't you have told me sooner? It's noon and it's perfectly open. Is it up to the customer? A shame!

22/11/2025: This is the third time I've been there, and the bread has been disgustingly folded every which way. I even got a kebab for my dad and me this week, and it was really bad. This is the first time I've ever left a review; go check out the competition.

01/12/2025: One of the best. A super large döner sandwich, for a great price. Very tasty and fullfilling. You never want it to finish. Staff were very welcoming and nice. You can also see them cooking everything right in front of you. I recommend everyone near by to give them a try.

22/11/2025: I had lunch with my mom today. We ordered two kebab plates, and let me tell you, they were so generous that I couldn't finish them all! The portions were very generous, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was spotless! The owner is really lovely. We'll be back.

30/12/2024: An exceptional place located a stone's throw from the Donjon de Niort and the Marais Poitevin. The night was very pleasant in this quiet and perfectly decorated place. Wake up gently thanks to the scent of meat slowly cooked by Maitre Kemal, the owner of the place, who already cooked under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Fortunately the meat is no longer the same as it was at that time. In short, the €9 menu including a night in the Kemal hotel is a must have when visiting Niort.

15/12/2024: So the room doesn't have any particular decor..... But we ate well there and at very affordable prices... The sandwiches or the plates are all good. We were treated to a nice tea at the end of the meal. Thanks again.

12/12/2024: Order of 3 chicken "kebabs", arrived at home they are not "kebabs" but coarse pieces of chicken like you find in tacos, a small piece of salad 3 pieces of onion, the meat good but when you order a "kebab" you expect meat on a spit cut into thin strips otherwise don't call it a kebab....

28/11/2025: This place is filthy, the meat is plastic-tasting, and the fries are frozen and bought from the supermarket, which they then resell at exorbitant prices. Not to mention the unbearable owner, her lack of professionalism, and the unsanitary conditions—you wouldn't be surprised to find yourself sharing fries with a cockroach. Even the public restrooms at the Carrefour supermarket are more hygienic and pleasant than this restaurant. For the bravest among you, who don't mind poor hygiene and have plenty of money to spend on substandard food, I highly recommend it. For those of you with a bit more civility, I suggest you travel a few extra kilometers and eat somewhere more suitable for a proper restaurant. Sincerely.

26/09/2025: I used to go there often, the old-fashioned way, 10 years ago. I ordered a small plate today, and it was honestly quick, guys. The meat is lazy!

11/11/2025: My family fled the current regime in the US, and landed in Caudebec en Caux. I’ve honestly been avoiding French pizza, because frankly it looks too odd. But we wanted to give it a chance. Ordered two pies, one Vegetarian and one with Chorizo and merguez. It took a little while, because they were busy, but worth the wait. I’ll be back as much as I can while I’m in town.

01/11/2025: Disappointed by the owner's behavior. We often come to get pizzas for various events, but last night he was incredibly rude to us. No discount was offered for 5 pizzas costing over €90, not even a bottle of wine. I do not recommend this place.

23/06/2025: We always order takeaway, order by phone, it's very good, very generous, we don't always manage to finish. And the phone order is well followed. We go back with pleasure and we recommend to acquaintances. Friendly welcome. Keep it up!!

05/07/2025: We came with friends to spend a moment out of time. The owner takes us into an unusual place. He takes us on a journey through his cuisine and the anecdotes he tells us. He is truly very welcoming and caring. At the end of the evening, he sang and played Turkish music for us. A place I recommend without hesitation if you want to spend a friendly moment. Thank you very much, we will come back.
