29/06/2026: We went with colleagues, 11 of us, with a reservation on the terrace. The welcome was fantastic, the waitress very friendly and attentive. Then, the manager, Pascal, brought us the menus with explanations of the dishes and a presentation of the daily specials, which is a real sign of quality and professionalism.
Honestly, I had the house-smoked salmon: excellent, probably the best I've ever had. Then the hanger steak with fries, cauliflower, and béarnaise sauce: perfectly cooked and very tender meat. For dessert, the Bounty-style chocolate mousse was amazing.
All the appetizers, main courses, and desserts are hearty and generous: you leave feeling truly satisfied.
My colleagues also ordered various dishes: homemade guacamole, melon and ham, house-smoked salmon, pork loin with chorizo, seafood salad, chicken pyramid with chorizo, sea bream, as well as several desserts like tiramisu, vacherin, etc.
Excellent overall experience, I highly recommend it!

The food is excellent, even though the restaurant is packed for lunch.

19/05/2026: This restaurant was very expensive for 3 shrimp and 3 scallops...we're in Rungis, please! Normally, they use local sourcing to ensure fresh produce and lower prices, but this was far too exorbitant. There was no set lunch menu...we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, a bottle of water, and 2 coffees for €120!!!

But once inside, it's really lovely.
The chicken couscous is delicious.
The waiter is super friendly 👍

L'Aloyau de Rungis is a true gem for meat lovers! This restaurant perfectly combines a beautiful setting with a warm atmosphere. The service is impeccable, thanks to Vittoria and Mehdi who ensure that every detail is taken care of to make your experience unforgettable.
The quality of the meat is simply exceptional, and each dish is a delight for the taste buds. It is undoubtedly THE restaurant to recommend for those seeking a gourmet experience focused on meat.
However, one small drawback: the servers' comings and goings in the dining room can sometimes seem a little intrusive and repetitive. That said, the value for money is very good.
The waitress Zohra is very friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of fine cuisine.

08/04/2026: A very disappointing experience. The staff refused to let us dine on the terrace without a valid reason and insisted we eat inside, which was not our preference. We were also told that the restaurant was fully booked without a reservation, which seemed clearly untrue given the number of available seats.
The service was unpleasant, unprofessional, and completely disregarded. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and completely ruins the experience.
I do not recommend this establishment.

Being open on Friday and Saturday evenings has added another big plus.

22/04/2026: Good pizzeria in Rungis. A good selection of pizzas (I had the mountain pizza), generously topped and perfectly cooked. The service is efficient and quick. No waiting! It's not cramped at all... even for one person. The desserts are a bit small and expensive.

08/06/2026: The hotel does not live up to the expected Mercure standard.
We stayed on a Saturday night for an early Sunday departure from Orly.
No restaurant on weekends! There's an advertisement for the restaurant, conveniently omitting the fact that it's only open during the week. There's nothing nearby except a McDonald's and a pizza vending machine.
Breakfast is served late on weekends, whereas it's served from 5 a.m. on weekdays?? For a hotel whose guests are potential Orly travelers, this is incomprehensible.
You pay for a room + breakfast package, but you don't get breakfast. They tell you a package will be ready instead. What a disgrace! Extremely low-quality products and no drinks. Unbelievable, but this establishment is downgrading its weekend guests.
The room is outdated, still has a bathtub, and the air conditioning doesn't work. It's impossible to open the windows because there aren't any, supposedly for safety reasons. In short, an evening and a night to forget very quickly, and an establishment banned from our address books.
