13/02/2026: We booked by phone that morning, but even on the phone, the owner wasn't very welcoming. The reception was lukewarm at best, and after two or three unpleasant remarks, we decided to leave this small establishment. I suppose all the positive reviews correspond to the days when the owner is friendly!

13/01/2026: Friendly welcome, very good food, and the dishes are homemade with quality products.

12/08/2026: The setting is very pleasant with a shaded terrace. However, the prices are too high for what's served (€20 for a burger...). The dishes are far too simple for the price.

10/08/2026: Excellent brasserie, we come every year and it's always just as good. The staff are friendly, pleasant, and cheerful; we highly recommend it!

12/06/2026: Fine older, family operated hotel in a unique location. Restaurant is fantastic, but be sure to reserve in advance and take the time to consider the menu in advance!

02/06/2026: If there was a hotel star for hospitality, this hotel would have 5! We arrived at 9am, with 2 motorbikes and luggage, tired and hungry from an overnight ferry journey. Reception could not have been warmer: have some breakfast, private parking for the bikes and your room is ready. Now that is special. Hotel is charming and you will already know there is no lift: our room was as advertised and the best view of any hotel over Sanary Harbour. Rooms are excellent value for money. The restaurant (closed Tuesday) is easily the best place to eat in Sanary. This hotel is a real gem, run by a genuinely warm hotel family team. We cannot wait to return - and check in at a more normal time !

20/08/2026: This caterer is a gem!! Everything is delicious. The pasta, of course, but also all the other offerings. Octopus salad, caponata, focaccia, pissaladière, not forgetting the traditional pistou soup on Thursdays, will satisfy your taste buds. Everything is homemade. I highly recommend this establishment where quality, joy, and good humor are guaranteed!!! Guy

19/08/2026: Lovers of authentic and delicious Italian pizza, look no further! Chez Ciccio is an address you absolutely must visit! The pizzas are a real treat, generous and very reasonably priced—simply the best pizzas in Sanary-sur-Mer. And that's not all: as it's also a caterer, you can also discover a fine selection of other Italian dishes and regional products. The icing on the cake is the warm welcome from a very friendly lady. We'll definitely be back! John and Anita

08/08/2026: Meh, very limited menu, quantity and quality not in line with the price. The portion size varies depending on the customer. We ordered the signature dish, chicken with goat cheese, based on what we saw at the next table, but unfortunately the portion wasn't the same, and as for the quality, it was just average roadside fare. We won't be going back!

08/08/2026: Always a warm welcome at Mac Sym's, where all the dishes are excellent (best Caesar salad I've ever tasted!)! A must-visit restaurant in Sanary!

07/08/2026: I felt like I was bothering the servers, even though we were there at the very beginning of service. The restaurant wasn't overbooked, which makes this attitude even more incomprehensible. We were there for about an hour. During that time, the staff seemed more preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves and checking their phones than attending to customers. The service was mediocre, and the food was equally poor. I strongly advise against going to this establishment. Even after speaking with the manager, he explained that the poor service wasn't his fault. In that case, who is responsible?

07/08/2026: So I see the rave reviews and I'm really wondering what happened that day. It's probably the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The omelets weren't seasoned, which isn't exactly a complicated recipe... (and don't even get me started on the green salad, there was absolutely no dressing). The service was slow and the waitress was unpleasant to boot. And we paid a lot on top of that, so just avoid this place.

29/12/2025: Extremely disappointed. My family and I ate at A&A restaurant. The food was served cold, and the prices were exorbitant for the poor quality. The gnocchi with truffle cream and roast ham was actually just a cream sauce without truffle and made with processed ham. Far from what I expected. The octopus stew, supposedly fresh, was in fact frozen. I do not recommend it.

11/08/2026: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. Upon arrival, the owner asked us to come back 20 minutes later. When we returned, she had clearly forgotten about us, although we were eventually able to be seated. We ordered mussels with Roquefort cheese, but to our surprise, the mussels arrived simply prepared in a marinière sauce, accompanied by a small bowl of Roquefort sauce to be shared between three people. The amount of sauce was therefore very small for a dish advertised as "mussels with Roquefort." When we pointed this out, we found the owner's reaction rather defensive, which unfortunately did not improve our impression. Another unpleasant surprise: we found a small worm in one of the mussels. This kind of discovery is obviously very unpleasant, especially in a restaurant and considering the rather high price of the bill. A €3 goodwill gesture was made, which we appreciated, even if it seemed rather meager considering the overall situation. On the other hand, we want to emphasize that the servers were truly excellent: pleasant, smiling, and professional. This had absolutely nothing to do with our disappointment regarding the rest of the experience. Unfortunately, it was a mixed experience, and especially disappointing considering the price paid.

24/07/2026: Staff who couldn't care less about the customers... they say so verbally to our faces... but everything's fine. That's the new generation for you, show your credentials and be very tolerant, except for the head of personnel, the manager, and others, but not all of them. The view is magnificent. 0 stars, but the view is still there, so one star.

21/08/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was really subpar, with dishes that I found bland and disappointing. The staff wasn't welcoming, no smiles, and the overall impression was quite cold. Given the prices, I honestly expected much better. Very disappointing value for money. I don't plan on going back.

20/08/2026: 😉Our before and after photos should give you an idea of how it went, but if you'd like to know: My wife and I recently ate here and we've gotta say, "Everything was perfect!!!" 💯🍻 - from the 🍕 seafood pizza we had as a starter to the 🥩veal cutlets and pepper-sauced beef as main course meals, topped it off with a delicious 🥞 panacotta dessert; 🍟great portion of homemade fries; even the toilet was cool 😅 The waitress was professional and the drinks meals came out quick. Great atmosphere, we'll certainly be back 😍👋🏽

23/08/2026: The pizza dough crumbles, the tomato sauce has no taste, you're better off eating a supermarket pizza, there's actually some taste there.

18/08/2026: The flower-filled terrace was lovely. However, we were disappointed with the pizzas. We've had better.

23/06/2026: The pizzas are small, the Italian salad: lettuce, a burrata, four cherry tomatoes cut in half, two pieces of Roman-style artichoke... Little flavor, minimal service, two pieces of bread... I haven't had dessert yet. I don't recommend it.

27/08/2026: It's been a long time since I've eaten such a bad pizza. The tomato sauce tastes awful.

04/08/2026: The vegetarian pizza was sparsely topped, and the goat cheese and honey pizza had a bit too much cream. The crust, however, was very good. The service was impeccable and quick. Thank you for the friendly service.

30/07/2026: Avoid at all costs... the buckwheat crepes weren't salty, and the sweet crepes were just so-so. The mussel pots were small. Our waitress was unpleasant. It's also a haven for pigeons. And there's only one toilet with a queue in the middle of the restaurant... the only positive point is the location. I do not recommend it.
