Les meilleurs restaurants en Avignon

06/04/2026: The Sevin has a very pleasant terrace, an impressive wine list, and we had some great dishes as part of the 50 euros lunch menu. Such as a pork with mushroom, well executed, and a kiwi dessert, light and original. However, we feel the service could be improved. The example that surprised us the most, happened when asking if the menu is OK considering my wife pregnancy. The answer was : « tell me what to do - dites moi ce que je dois faire ». We appreciate the openness to adjust as we wish, but were surprised as it was the first time we received such answer, especially from a Michelin listed restaurant. Usually, restaurants proactively propose to cook the meet/fish a bit more, and as we, customer, do not know the recipe details, they usually check if there’s anything involving eggs (cream, mayonnaise, sauces…) or non-pasteurized cheese in the ingredients. It’s is ok that they ask us what to do, but we were surprised that they do not seem to know. The only other restaurant where it happened to us was a pizzeria, where we had to explicitly ask if the burrata was pasteurized. Everywhere else, starred/ listed Michelin restaurants, or others, staff always known what to do. And often (~half the time) even proactively told us what to be careful about from the moment they give the menu, as we always indicate it in the reservation comments. So overall good food, view, nice sommelier, but our personal feeling is that the service could be improved.

05/04/2026: 4.5 really. Extremely good good - the cheese course is to die for. Great accommodations for a no-seafood person. Friendly service. So-so wine pairing - the oldest, fanciest wines were definitely not to our taste. Extremely relaxed service: our 5 course meal took 3.5 hours.

15/03/2026: Mathilde and her team gave us a very warm welcome; thank you for your kindness. The hotel is charming, the room was decent, clean, and the bed comfortable. The restaurant was very pleasant, both for dinner and breakfast. After spending our days exploring Avignon and the surrounding area, we appreciated returning to the peaceful atmosphere of this hotel, nestled in nature yet just minutes from the city. I highly recommend it.

14/12/2024: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Dear brother in Islam السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I put a constructive and informative opinion hoping that the brother who reads it and will question himself "religiously and spiritually". I had come to order food from him and I came and made an effort to turn down the music on the cell phone. There was a wait of 10/15 minutes but that's normal, it's the average time because I worked for years in fast food Helêl it's natural. On the other hand, the criticism is that I sat at the table while being served and to my great surprise he played the music again to please the non-Muslim customers and this disturbed me spiritually and religiously because I am religious but also a full customer who pays because I was reading the Qur'ēn (Quran) on my cell phone and what shocked me the most was that when I kindly asked him to turn off the music he grimaced and this put her in the annoying while normally in Islam music is prohibited. Really we live with people from that era to whom everything has visibly reversed personally the food is very good but for me I will come back the more I prefer and make my sandwich at home. إنا لله و إنا إليه راجعون a large majority of Muslims are ashamed of being true Muslims and lose their Muslim personalities.

29/03/2026: Great hotel! The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The bedding is very comfortable. Dinner at the bistro was a very pleasant surprise: delicious from start to finish, and excellent value for money. Breakfast was also delicious and offered a wide variety of choices.

04/01/2026: We spent one night at the hotel and had a reservation. The hotel room was far from five-star quality, and the heating didn't work properly. The toilet was leaking… the restaurant we had booked for 8 pm was full. We had to ask twice before someone acknowledged our reservation and prepared a table. Disappointing, except for the carpooling service.

12/02/2026: The crêpes are really excellent. The process is almost fully automatic but all is freshly made and it is just much better then any other crêpes in town. Staff is friendly, payment is also on this machine that makes it faster and easier. They have both sweet and salty crêpes. Sweet are amazing, salty are good but because they don't use buckwheat for them they are slighlty below. Finally worth mentioning there is pack of 6 for only 6 euros to bring home. During peak hour, you need to wait up to 15mns, people know it is the best place :( i don't, as i am local. I don't give 5 stars because of the lack of buckwheat crêpes but they are close.

14/04/2026: Having chosen this restaurant based on previous positive reviews, we were somewhat disappointed by the quality of the food we were served. Be aware, the dining room is quite small (and very kitschy).

09/02/2026: I loved this place. The sushi is made fresh to order and is excellent. One small drawback: the preparation time for takeout orders. Remember to call ahead to order.

28/09/2025: A very pretty room with exposed stone. A lovely menu with a wide selection of bobun, poke balls, sushi, and more. Remember to make a reservation, though.

27/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by accident after a day of sightseeing. What a pleasant surprise!!! The decor was super cute eclectic Italian but the real star was the food… Pizzas / pastas , appetizers… all absolutely delicious!! The staff were all so friendly! I actually forgot my phone on the table, and the owner ran around the block to give it to me before we drove away!

21/03/2026: The truth is, the restaurant's decor is very nice. But the food, or at least what I tried... the pizzas weren't bad, but they were completely soulless, and for a "Neapolitan" pizza, the cornicione was nonexistent; they were rather flat. Another point to emphasize is the dessert, misnamed "Tiramisu," which doesn't live up to its name at all. The sponge cake had clearly never touched coffee, and between the mascarpone and the sponge cake was a layer of some kind of Nutella that was completely out of place, topped with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a dollop of whipped cream. I went with high expectations, and the experience certainly didn't live up to them, not to mention the price: €15 for everything—a plate of pasta, a Margherita pizza, or any other pizza—it was pointless.
