On my way to visit the Palais des Papes in the morning, I passed by this discreet little restaurant tucked away in a charming cul-de-sac.
What a delightful surprise!
A warm welcome, delicious local cuisine, and a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere. What more could you ask for?
For my main course, I had beef tataki with roasted vegetables—absolutely succulent!
And for dessert, frozen yogurt topped with oatmeal and chocolate cookie pieces, drizzled with homemade salted caramel sauce. The dessert was gone in under three minutes.

Very welcoming. Great knowledgeable service, wonderful food.
A perfect setting.
I would highly recommend.
30/08/2026: We stumbled upon this amazing place by chance. Highly recommended! Fantastic view of Avignon and beautifully decorated. Feel free to go downstairs and have a look around. Oh, and you can even sit in the restroom and look out over Avignon through a porthole. The food is excellent, and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

30/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The food is excellent and the atmosphere in the square is superb, especially during the Avignon Festival! Nadège, our waitress, was simply fantastic. I highly recommend it.
27/07/2026: Internet access card not up to date, decent welcome but poor value for money: the grilled vegetable platter is clearly not worth 19 euros, totally overpriced. Given the prices, we didn't order dessert and regretted not going somewhere else in the end. I do not recommend it.

24/05/2026: This old hotel has retained its charm. However, it could use some restoration in certain areas (crooked stairs, faded paint in a few places, and worn carpets).
It would be nice to offer the following in the rooms: a USB port, a bottle of water in the suites, chocolates in the evening when guests turn down for the night, etc. Small details, but they make all the difference. We had no hot water one evening. After mentioning the problem to reception, no one called us back. We tested the water again later, and it was working. A call to let us know it was being repaired would have been appropriate.
The staff is efficient and dedicated. The hotel is very well located, and everything is within walking distance. The town is charming. I recommend this place.
