08/08/2026: In the middle of a hot summer afternoon, after a pleasant visit to the Palais des Papes to see the Lee Ufan exhibition, we found the perfect spot to relax, cool off, and enjoy an ice cream. For maximum comfort, always choose a terrace with natural shade. You'll always be cooler there. This establishment's terrace is the only one truly shaded by large, sturdy plane trees that protect us from the scorching sun of recent years. Furthermore, it also boasts the best view of the palace, the spacious square, and the entire vista of the climb up to the gardens. It's peaceful because it's a car-free zone. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always smiling. They are incredibly attentive. Their menu is varied and available at extended hours to suit your appetite and pace. The ice cream menu is simple, varied, and delicious. So there we were, sitting in the shade of the large plane trees, enjoying ice cream, coffee, and cold drinks in peace and quiet. A must-visit spot.

07/08/2026: Wonderful setting opposite the Palais des Papes, tucked away from the terraces of other restaurants. We had a lovely dinner. The children's menu is perhaps a little pricey, as it only includes a drink and a main course for €15. Quality cuisine, beautiful view, and welcoming, friendly, and professional servers. A great experience during our stay in Avignon.

16/07/2026: My husband and I arrived at 1 p.m. There was only one dish left: the burger, either chicken or ground beef, the meat of which arrived well-done when my husband had ordered it rare. Furthermore, the service was interminable, and the wine, as sharp as the bill, meant we didn't finish our glasses.

07/08/2026: Absolutely! This is what I would write: Great stop for EV drivers! There are plenty of fast chargers and enough space to park briefly, even with a trailer or caravan. While charging, you can sit comfortably in the shade on one of the picnic benches to have something to eat or drink. Also ideal if you are traveling with a dog: there is a green area right next to the charging station where you can easily take a short walk. A nice, quiet stop that offers everything for a comfortable charging break. Definitely recommended!

23/07/2026: If you're ever in Avignon, this is a must-visit! The crêpes are homemade, prepared right in front of you. They're delicious, large, and very reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling. An excellent experience that I highly recommend!

20/07/2026: The crepes were good, but the service needs improvement. There was a long wait, and the seasonal staff were unpleasant. One was on the phone, and the other had the nerve to serve me last, making a rude and condescending remark because I didn't know where to wait for my order. Not a very smart way to build customer loyalty. Furthermore, their gloved hands touched the phones, the till, and then the crepe...

15/07/2026: Having traveled extensively and frequented numerous bars and parties during major events, including the Olympic Games in South Korea and even the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, I was particularly disappointed by the atmosphere of this establishment, and especially by the manager's attitude. He was extremely unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional in his interactions with customers. I fully understand that this type of event can be stressful and that a manager can sometimes feel overwhelmed, but certain remarks and behaviors are unacceptable from a professional. In about twenty years of attending these kinds of events, I had never witnessed anything like it. Furthermore, the toilets didn't even close properly. I had to ask a stranger to hold the door open while I used them. And I'd rather not even dwell on their overall condition… A very disappointing experience, unfortunately.

05/07/2026: Disappointed. Tasteless salad dressing, frozen-quality fries, a small €19.90 burger, barely melted cheese, and cooked medium-rare due to health regulations?! Why put beef tartare on the menu when it's normally served raw? The choux pastry was also frozen... In short, very disappointed. Luckily, the service was good, and the waitresses were embarrassed to hear the truth. Last but not a word from the head waiter, who didn't even leave the counter...
