23/11/2024: Vraiment, rien ne va . Tout est cheap, la déco en plastique , les plats tout droit sortis de chez Métro, les prix très élevés, les tables de jardin, et surtout les gâteaux pas bons du tout On est loin du simple simon d'origine typiquement Anglais. Non vraiment je n'y retournerai plus,

18/09/2024: We went to this place because the reviews were favorable and I confirm. Beautiful place, welcoming and accommodating staff (we didn't have reservations, which I recommend), we ordered 3 beautiful large pizzas and very tasty. A significant point for those who do not live in Avignon, the Oratory car park is just a short walk away. Another detail, the total bill was very reasonable considering the services (€60 with drinks) We were able to see other very tempting dishes which also made us want to eat. In short, nice restaurant, we'll come back there sometime!!

( je les connais particulièrement bien car j’en consomme plusieurs fois par semaine, ils sont calibrés d’une manière facilement identifiable) .. honteux

19/08/2024: Un endroit où il faut absolument mangé à Avignon. Super moment avec des serveurs et serveuses au TOP, très attentionnée envers leurs clients, et le patron également. Une cuisine très soignée et succulentes. MERCI à tous et un petit clin d’œil à TOTO. ps: notre chien VASCO vous remercie également de l’attention que vous lui avez porté.

17/09/2024: A few years ago, an acquaintance introduced me to this place which appealed to me with the setting and the meal. The pizzas were excellent! I never had the opportunity to go back and then I went there on August 30 with my partner, telling him about the good memories of this restaurant. We arrived at 1:20 p.m. having booked (with an Australian Shepherd). The desserts were quite busy and the waiters were busy eagerly. We weren't able to be taken care of for a while because we arrived too late and many regulars were chatting with the staff. People felt good and we felt a little isolated. From the moment we were taken care of, the servers were much more available to chat and were quick, efficient and kind!!! I had a pizza, my companion had meat/cheese/fries/salad. A gourmet coffee for 2. A treat!!! We feel the quality of the products. Thank you very much for this moment, we had a very pleasant time and hope to come back more quickly now 😊.

12/09/2024: Very good bakery and a wide variety of snacks. Big downside for the nauseating smell in the toilets... After eating, it's enough to vomit... The staff was attentive when the problem was raised.

Trés bon rapport qualité prix par rapport aux restaurants du reste de la ville... cela merite vraiment de mettre quelques euros de plus à son addition et d'avoir le plaisir de cette expérience culinaire dans ce bel endroit et son magnifique jardin

17/08/2024: We've stayed and/or eaten at La Mirande many times over the past 15-20 years, and this was the worst meal we have ever had, and the most expensive. No choice, apart from stating what we didn't want or like, and even that wasn't followed. One single St. Jaques, absolutely nothing special. Several mackerel, a totally un-nobel fish. Several individual plates which were good. The crab dish was exceptional, and the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately we were given the pork dish which has a sauce made from pigs blood, and I specifically stated that I did not want that dish (I had read about it before). Deserts were OK, The wine was faire. Years ago they always had exceptional wines by the glass. No longer true. On our next visit, we'll either eat downstairs or in the bar. Never again will I eat in the restaurant until they either change the chef or the menu.

11/06/2024: This restaurant is a shame in Avignon. Being a local, avoid 3/4 of the restaurants on Place de l'Horloge and go to Place Pie with respectable restaurants that are not tourist traps.

30/08/2024: Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es scheint als ob es keinen wichtigeren Gast gäbe, als den, mit dem man gerade spricht. Sehr angenehm! Der Manager sieht aus, als wolle er seine Sachen bewachen, damit sie niemand klaut. Etwas skurril, stört aber nicht. Er sitzt halt da rum. Das Essen war deutlich besser als wir erwartet hatten und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt! Verbesserungsvorschlag, man könnte einen Muskat aus Beaumes de Venice mit auf die Speisekarte nehmen.
