09/09/2026: A fantastic experience! The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and very professional. The sandwiches are delicious, fresh, and generously sized. We thoroughly enjoyed them! I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

30/08/2026: A bit disappointed with the restaurant despite the very fast service. We arrived at 7 pm, there were only two tables, and there was a mistake with the order, despite the few customers... The fries arrived cold and stiff, and we were charged extra even though they were supposedly all-you-can-eat, as was the salad. The meat was small, and the knives really need replacing; it was impossible to cut the meat without struggling, which was extremely unpleasant... The children's menu was €10 for a meager piece of salmon and a mountain of fries... Only one ice cream was included; a drink with the menu would have been appreciated for the price. However, the servers were pleasant, welcoming, and smiling. In short, not a very pleasant experience.

28/08/2026: A significant drop in quality, what a shame! We were very disappointed compared to what we experienced 4 or 5 years ago. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was dismissive: I mentioned our reservation and the response was practically, "We don't know what to do, sit over there, there are two seats," even though the restaurant was far from full. The staff seemed unmotivated, our plate was chipped and dirty, the glasses were of questionable cleanliness, and the restrooms desperately need attention. The meat and its cooking were acceptable, but the fries were frankly dreadful: poor quality potatoes, badly peeled, stained, with pieces that should never have made it onto a plate. Leaving the skin on might be trendy, but you still need to use good potatoes and sort them properly. A very significant drop in quality in just a few years. A real shame.

09/02/2026: I loved this place. The sushi is made fresh to order and is excellent. One small drawback: the preparation time for takeout orders. Remember to call ahead to order.

28/09/2025: A very pretty room with exposed stone walls. A lovely menu with a wide selection of bobun, poke bowls, sushi… Remember to make a reservation.

28/08/2026: I've always liked the products at this chain, I go there regularly. But today I was served by someone who wasn't very friendly. I had breakfast, and she spilled chocolate on my tray. I felt like I was bothering her.

27/08/2026: The staff were friendly, but how is it possible in 2026, especially in the food industry in the south, to have a place with only one working air conditioner and disgusting, never-cleaned filters (even though it's food-grade)? It's currently impossible to consider having lunch there with temperatures of 25-30 degrees Celsius inside and 35 degrees outside. What a shame!

02/09/2026: So I came to eat at this restaurant with two of my friends. We weren't satisfied with the charcuterie board because we were promised a melted Camembert, but we received four small breaded Camemberts instead. The manager disagreed with our opinion, claiming we had eaten everything, even though we had given the tray to some homeless people who were passing by. He made us pay for the entire meal. On the plus side, Elias, the waiter, was very friendly.

25/08/2026: The best bar in Avignon!!! The staff are lovely. Xavier is the best manager in the world. Elias and Sacha are the best bartenders ever. We had my best friend's bachelorette party there, it was JUST INCREDIBLE!!! The atmosphere is amazing. Come without hesitation!!

01/09/2026: Authentic bar with friendly, smiling staff. The owner, Stéphane, has excellent whiskies and cognacs. Prices are very reasonable. Breakfast and charcuterie boards coming soon.

07/09/2026: There are a lot of good restaurants along the Place de Horloge. I stopped at the Jaquemart to read the menu and the waitress asked if I needed help. I asked if the food was fresh and not previously frozen. She said it was all fresh. I ordered chicken escalope with pepper sauce, potatoes dauphinoise and salad. It was absolutely delicious. The potatoes were amazing. I ordered a glass of house red that was also very good. I paid €21.90 including bread. Great find and i will be going back. I was there today 7th Sept.26.

31/05/2026: While in Avignon for the weekend, my partner and I ate there. We enjoyed the food and, above all, appreciated the warm welcome and excellent service. The staff were very pleasant.

27/05/2026: I was with friends this Saturday at 8:30 pm and honestly, it was fantastic! The excellent food really reminded me of the 1950s in the United States. The atmosphere was amazing! And the curly-haired guy was so nice! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

20/09/2026: The food was still great, but (my daughter and I) we noticed a lot of cockroaches running everywhere on the floor and walls... What a disappointment!!

23/05/2026: Cozy cafe with lots of options (including matcha). We tried the chai and the capuccino with lavanda and both were delicious

26/06/2026: First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

18/06/2026: Location is great. We only had a after dinner drink in the patio and service was slow. Room really nice but a little small. Receptionist very kind suggested restaurants around. Because of the narrow streets in the old town, we ended up scraping all the rims on our sports car. However, when we left, the parking attendant was extremely kind and helped guide us out of the old town.

12/06/2026: La Mirande is a gorgeous hotel with a perfect location in Avignon. When I first arrived I was given a room that was so incredibly beautiful it felt like the room of a queen. Unfortunately, there was a plumbing issue underneath my bathroom that precipitated me needing to be moved to another room. While the staff was incredibly courteous and attentive to me during this issue, the updated room I was moved to was much darker and had a musty smell - not quite as on par with the original room. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend the hotel. I had several lovely meals out on the garden terrace admiring the flowers and the view of the Pope's Palace. And I really cannot emphasize enough how excellent the staff were at every moment of my visit.
