07/06/2026: We had an excellent gourmet lunch here last Friday. Service was impeccable, the room was beautiful and the food was amazing. Well worth the price.
07/06/2026: Beautiful and well-maintained guesthouse. The Sorgue River flows under the house; it's very pretty. But upon arriving at 5:25 PM, there was no one to greet us. Not a single person. It's a shame. A real shame. We hadn't received any instructions. My phone number was given with two digits reversed, and this error prevented me from receiving the instructions. The staff is extraordinary. Truly so pleasant and professional. Magnificent meals, five trips to the guesthouse. The room is lovely. Complimentary tray with coffee, tea, and herbal teas. Thank you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ask the neighbor across the hall to close their curtains. PLEASE (Unacceptable sight as we were going to bed!!! 🥵😡🤢)

Le Bellevue, France

17/07/2026: Very pleasant and friendly, efficient service. Thank you very much.
17/07/2026: What a lovely place to dine by the water! The food was fantastic: the sea bass and the duck were perfectly prepared. It was a hit with my 5-year-old son too. He thoroughly enjoyed the salmon. It's great that they cater to families with high chairs and have a separate kids' menu. And to finish? The ice cream menu is extensive and highly recommended. Highly recommended!

La Flourdiliz

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
27/08/2026: We ventured away from the crowds to find this crêperie, and we have absolutely no regrets. As Bretons, we wholeheartedly approve – the food was delicious and the welcome was excellent. Thank you!
20/08/2026: Title: A Unique Concept: The Breton Galette-Pizza (Without the Talent) Having read very positive reviews and an overall rating of 4.5 for this out-of-the-way establishment, we decided to choose a restaurant off the beaten tourist track in the city center. Upon arrival, the storefront and its torn awning should have already raised red flags. But we wanted to believe it. The obligatory Breton striped shirts worn by the staff and the nautical anchors embroidered on the chair covers should also have made us suspicious. Then came the moment when we were served a bowl of Super U cider... At that point, all doubt was dispelled. Yet, like in a bad B-movie, we waited for the end, gave it a chance, hoped for a saving grace. In vain. It was only the prelude to a long shipwreck. The owner has changed, the glowing reviews are a thing of the past, the online prices are outdated, and the photos on the internet look like they belong in the archives or science fiction. Let's talk about the technical side of things, because here we're bordering on the absurd. I discovered that you can cook a buckwheat galette not with salted butter, but by smothering it under three millimeters of industrial mozzarella or Emmental cheese, under the pretext that "the fat in the cheese helps it release." Revolutionary. The result? A 3 mm thick crust of indeterminate composition, tasting of frying oil and with the elasticity of a tractor tire. For the salmon galette, my partner specifically asked for the Emmental to be removed. The waitress then retorted that it was preferable to replace it with mozzarella, "easier for them to release the crust." We didn't immediately realize that this buckwheat crepe was going to be given a "mozza-pizza" makeover, a hybrid concept that even the Italians would refuse to endorse. As for the side salad, given how dry everything was, you might as well offer it free of charge: it'll at least serve as a first-aid kit to prevent choking. When you decide to set up shop far from the city center, there are only two options to attract customers: offer lower prices, or be excellent. Here, they bravely chose to do neither. In the age of YouTube tutorials, messing up buckwheat crepes this badly is almost an art form. It's always difficult to be honest, and to be frank, it's actually quite embarrassing. Taking over a successful crepe shop in a remote area is a bold gamble that understandably inspires fear. Faced with stress, panic can sometimes lead to reckless actions, even rushing to the local supermarket to stock up on cider. But using cheese to mask a cooking flaw is culinary heresy and a blatant cover-up. The secret to a successful galette lies solely in the traditional seasoning of the griddle with butter—that famous protective layer that browns the batter and makes it subtly crispy at the edges—combined with perfectly controlled cooking temperatures. Nothing is ever truly lost. You simply have to put your pride aside, accept criticism, and urgently enroll in a proper cooking and service course. The restaurant business is a profession, madam, not a carnival. Clean your griddle, relearn how to season it with butter, banish the mozzarella, buy real salted butter and a local cider, and get back to it. Good luck with the rest of your journey; the buckwheat awaits.

Boulangerie Cattoen

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
29/07/2026: A very bad experience, appalling service on Monday, July 27th, for what was a simple request. My order: two plain flans. I received two apricot flans, and after paying, I realized the mistake. Instead of apologizing or at least acknowledging their error, the only response I got was: "Well, I don't know, I don't know what a flan looks like!" And then we wonder why small businesses are closing down. The flans weren't even particularly tasty, either.
24/07/2026: The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, but what a surprise! Everything is delicious and homemade, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating. It's simple, but you can feel the artisan's skill. Special mention for the macarons.

Monsieur Tu

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
20/04/2026: Really solid Pad Thai Very good Fast service on site
13/04/2026: Beware! The minimum amount for credit card payments seems to be arbitrary: at the register, depending on the server, they indicate a minimum of €8. But when the customer after me naively asked about the minimum amount, the owner replied, "€1!" I pointed this out to the owner, who just mumbled an apology but still left his "€8" sign stuck to the register. Furthermore, the food is greasy and tasteless: noodles as thick as spaghetti, and broccoli stir-fried in a sticky, thick sauce. The dining room is dark and cold. A restaurant to avoid.

19/08/2026: A lovely restaurant by the water in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Quick and friendly service, good food.
15/08/2026: The service leaves much to be desired… The owner, if he's not drunk, is pretty close… The food, frankly, isn't good, and the sauces taste like soap… A tomato and burrata salad for €27, with cheap tomatoes and a tiny burrata… There are plenty of other restaurants in the area! Go somewhere else!!

20/08/2026: Delicious, locally sourced cuisine! The location is perfect, centrally located yet tucked away in a quiet corner. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, which offers both high-quality food and a friendly, family atmosphere. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed.
20/08/2026: Great outdoor seating area, excellent food of outstanding quality, and friendly staff. During our visit, the waiter was solely responsible for the packed outdoor seating area and still took excellent care of all the guests. We'd gladly return!

Le Saigon

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
17/07/2026: Lunch at Saigon is like savoring a suspended moment. The dishes were delicious, prepared with care, and the gentle flow of the Sorgue River creates a unique atmosphere. I enjoyed the moment so much that I forgot to photograph the plates: a testament to how excellent everything was. A bucolic, peaceful place where you literally dine by the water's edge. An experience to be repeated.
17/07/2026: I went there for lunch and found the food very good. The parking is a real plus because L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a busy town! The setting by the water is also very pleasant.

Mas de Cure Bourse

L'Isle-Sur-La-Sorgue
04/06/2026: We had the pleasure of staying at Mas de Cure Bourse for our wedding anniversary. It was a stay filled with sweetness, romance, and delicacy... nestled in nature, like a refuge in the heart of Provence, a haven of peace... Our room was decorated with great care, a total immersion in Provence with the charm of a building whose history is respected and shared... ideal for daydreaming, a comfortable, peaceful, and restful cocoon. The atmosphere and Provençal style of the place transport you to another time, poetic and rejuvenating. You fall asleep and wake up to birdsong, the gentle rustling of the wind in the plane trees, and the fragrance of roses and wisteria on the terrace accompany your meals... and on cooler evenings, a charming restaurant awaits you with its magnificent fireplace and warm tones... when the weather doesn't permit you to stay on the terrace... We were welcomed by a smiling, friendly, and efficient team. They were calm and discreet, and they wanted to make our stay memorable with numerous thoughtful touches and helpful advice, particularly regarding places to visit in the region and the hotel's services... all to meet our expectations and every need. As for the restaurant, it was exceptional, a delight for the taste buds, with service of a quality worthy of a Michelin star... (and we were married in a Michelin-starred restaurant... so our judgment is not inaccurate...). The enticing and colorful dishes served were succulent, sophisticated, and a true poetry resided on each plate. An awakening of the senses and flavors, enough to awaken your taste buds... And above all, the Chef and his team's desire to showcase local produce and seasonal dishes; so much so that we tasted all the dishes on the "Seasonal Menu." Thank you to the entire Chef's team. Finally, if you are looking for a delightful and soothing Provençal interlude, a romantic getaway, don't hesitate to stop by this former 18th-century coaching inn, where Mrs. Bajolle's team will welcome you with great kindness and professionalism.
03/06/2026: Don't expect the refined and generous cuisine promised by the websites. The service was adequate and pleasant. The dishes were nicely presented but bland and tasteless, lacking any real flair. And incredibly expensive, too. When I expressed my disappointment while paying, I received no response. The setting is idyllic but unpretentious. I am extremely disappointed; it ruined my birthday. I left a message when making the reservation to mention it was my husband's birthday and our 20th anniversary, but we received no special attention whatsoever.
