23/02/2024: I went to eat at this restaurant once, but that was a long time ago, in 2010, when it was still called Maître Kanter's Tavern. I have very good memories of it. Now, I regularly pass by this restaurant in the evening to consult the menu, perhaps just to return. But when I see the work right outside the door, I pity the bosses. I hope for their sake that the work has no impact on their customers. The other evening I wandered past and thought of a recent song by Pierre Perret called "Paris saccagée" released last year; And the idea came to me to perhaps write a song on the same model, but entitled “La Roche-Sur-Yon en travail”! All this work at the same time in La Roche, fed up, and I hope it doesn't bother the traders too much.

25/03/2024: Simple but varied cuisine. A menu with multiple choices and a very friendly server. The only downside is that we are not given enough time to choose calmly and in view of the loaded menu, it would be good to let the customer take the time to choose so as not to have to choose in a hurry.

25/03/2024: We paid €15 for a meal (starter + main course + dessert) with a drink. It's a self-service restaurant, a bit like a canteen. We take a tray, and choose our starter, main course and dessert. Prices are displayed in front of each plate.

05/04/2024: Disappointed by our last 3 visits (service sometimes too long, quality and quantity of dishes decreasing, prices increasing, etc.), we persisted because we liked the brand. Well it was the last of the lasts!! Fast service, no worries!! But the marinated meat is all dry, without juice (fresh??), ultra nervous, the fries are so uninteresting and dry too, the winter vegetables on the side (frozen, which is ok) but served in mini portions, as if just thawed in the oven. microwave, with more pumpkin seeds than the squash itself, and the sweet potato which is reduced to pieces of skin, the grilled ham was fine, fortunately, even if the slice is very small, and finally the "cut "vanilla at 3.90 with the little ball of vanilla crying next to the little ball of whipped cream, served in the welcome salad ramekins...

01/04/2024: What a disappointment!!! We had booked for 7:15 p.m. but we notified by phone that we would arrive around 8 p.m. max, the gentleman told us no worries and there when we arrived. We limit ourselves to being sent on the roses which means it's limited (we're there at 7:43 p.m.) then the meal is served long, we ask for bread which will never arrive, the disappointing dessert (vanilla cookie cup with a scoop of vanilla and a tablespoon's worth of whipped cream but no broken cookies).

24/03/2024: It's a good restaurant but our surprise was when paying because we had asked for the beef chop on sale but following an error by the waiter we paid for the one on the menu, i.e. €10 more for 40g more meat (supposedly) and no return possible. Thank you restaurant management

22/03/2024: I do not recommend this pseudo hotel at all. See the photos: cobwebs on the chandelier and 2 flies when I arrived, a bed cover with holes, the soap dispenser with mold, a broken drawer... Carpet in the bathroom and toilet, I didn't dare go barefoot. Not to mention the boss who displays me in front of other customers by falsely accusing me and does not apologize after realizing that he was at fault because he does not master computers, he also speaks badly to his employees while the girls are adorable! A truly indelicate person who should stop working. I advise you to put your money elsewhere. The 3 stars are clearly not deserved and the decor does not compensate for the lack of maintenance of the rooms and stairs.
