First of all, when a customer only wants to have one meal, it's their choice, then we are pushed to consume, that is to say they force us to have either a starter or a dessert in addition. of the main course, even though we didn't want it, a starter of twelve snails, or two slices of pâté at €20 a plate or more is absurd.
Secondly, I better understand the tons of sauce to mask the terrible taste of the pike perch which was supposed to be "fresh" but which instead tasted like old mud... .
Thirdly, THE glass of Irancy costs €12.50 and the bottle of Evian costs €8.50, it’s a steal although it’s “gastronomic” it doesn’t justify everything. At this price I could limit myself to buying the whole bottle of red and the pack of water….
And finally, if you have a Wonderbox, worth around fifty euros or more, you will still get out for more than €120, but you will know that in the end it is the chef's surprise.
Two of us on the bill had it for €200, minus the sixty euros in our box we got it for €140.
140€ why not, but not in this restaurant, when you go to a gourmet restaurant you want quality, there it isn't there for everything...

18/08/2024: Absolument horrible je suis passé au distributeur de Clamecy la dent creuse et les pizza avait le goût de plastique et métal avec une pate horrible et fine c’était presque imangable pour le prix (35€ pour 3 pizza) c’est une arnaque
20/04/2024: L’accueil est glacial, le patron se montre impoli, voire irrespectueux, aussi aimable qu’une porte de prison.
Le personnel se cache pour éviter de servir les clients.
La qualité de la nourriture est désastreuse : des œufs meurette, en provenance directe de chez Métro, avec une sauce insipide, une biscotte brûlée en guise de croûtons, et pas la moindre trace de lardons…
Les plats sont si affreux que même mes pires souvenirs de cantine scolaire sont surpassés !
Le menu prétend proposer des plats « fait maison », mais c’est une pure escroquerie : il n’y a rien d’artisanal dans cette affaire !
Seuls les prix atteignent un niveau remarquable!

18/08/2024: Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par ce restaurant. L’accueil est très agréable, avec pleins d’attentions. Les galettes et crêpes sont excellentes et avec une petite touche d’originalité. Notre petit fils a adoré sa crêpe au suc’ « la meilleure crêpe qu’il ait jamais mangé ». Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

01/08/2024: The quality of the products and the know-how of the chefs are evident in each dish. The quality/quantity/price ratio is very good, and the service is too (overall). Definitely an address to try in Auxerre if you have the chance.

I understand that running a restaurant requires rigorous organization, and I respect your staff's need to rest. However, as a customer, it's frustrating to rely on incorrect information available online, leading to a poor experience before you even walk through the door of your establishment.
I also understand that you cannot currently update your website. That said, proactive and clear communication, particularly on your social networks or via automated messages to inform of your new schedules, could avoid these inconveniences in the future.
My intention is not to "drown" your comment platforms, but simply to express my disappointment in a lack of visibility on current information. Good communication with your customers is essential to avoid this type of misunderstanding and maintain a relationship of trust.
I wish you good luck for the future and hope that this feedback can be useful in improving customer satisfaction.

01/09/2024: Certes mon titre est violent mais à la hauteur du vécu.
Dimanche 1er septembre, jour de la St Fiacre (fête emblématique de Sens) Tous les restaurants sont fermés ou en liquidation.
Reste la Pizzeria de la cathédrale (voir mon avis sur ce restaurant mais surtout son patron) et L'Ecu.
La punition car pas le choix. Donc on se dit ça a peut-être changé, car mes 2 dernières expériences ont été catastrophiques et il y a longtemps. Il y a bien eu X changt de propriétaire, donc petit espoir.
Hélas NON ! C'est la même daube.
D entrée "la patronne " annonce le tempo. Je suis seule, je fais la cuisine, le service, la plonge, le bar ...il y aura de l attente.
OK OK...pas le choix
Une sourie d agneau 24 eur , sans goût, sans saveur, sans sauce ! Alors que c'est un pur produit industriel. Des frites élastiques froides ....une tarte citron humide, made in Pasquier.
2 repas avec de l eau 84 €
BREF les 4 tablées ont eu les mêmes réactions de franchement catastrophique pour un restaurant qui se la joue "classe"
Quelle punition !
PS pour le sel allez au carrefour d à côté car sur 6 tables zéro sel dans le moulin.
Et l hygiène des toilettes ou de la salle ...no comment

22/09/2024: Discovered this restaurant at lunchtime, here is a very good address to remember. Top notch welcome and service with a smile. A simple and effective card. Excellent cuisine. In short, it's all good. I recommend without hesitation.
Special mention for the lemon meringue tart for dessert which delighted my palate.
