31/03/2024: For our Easter weekend. Very pretty place. We chose a cottage for 2 people with a dining area. The Squirrel lodge. A very cozy place. Spacious, pleasant, friendly, clean. Little touches from our host. Breakfast included in our rental. Very hearty. To share with other guests. Knowledge, humor, friendliness. All a very pleasant set. Don't miss this place.

20/03/2024: While passing through Avallon we stopped for a night in this hotel with its cozy atmosphere. Spacious comfortable quiet room. A backyard accommodates cars in a parking lot closed at night and designed for electric cars. You can also eat there with 2 menus to choose from or à la carte dishes, delicious meal and end of starter to dessert for my part gizzard salad as starter and trout fillet as main course and lemon meringue tart as accompanied dessert a delicious little Chablis all for €25. In the morning we were treated to a good classic breakfast. All this supervised by welcoming staff. We will come back to it on our next visit.
12/03/2024: Bedroom in the attic, very low ceiling and dated. Fortunately it was cheap.
Apart from that the hotel is well located with efficient service.

01/04/2024: The lack of Michelin stars is a mystery. And an injustice. The creativity of the chef and the finesse of the dishes deserve 2. We were won over, in particular, by a radish top mousse and a raspberry sauce which wonderfully enhanced the taste of a brill. Carefully chosen cheese platter and voluptuous desserts. Extra.
17/03/2024: A fabulous, intimate place. Delicious from welcome to plate. We feel like home, and it’s a real treat! Well worth one or even two Michelin stars.
Plan to spend your evening, because you don't want to leave. Well done and thank you!

14/11/2023: A real pleasure to eat on this terrace on a sunny day with this beautiful view of the lake. Dishes without fuss, good and plentiful. Very pleasant service, dogs kindly welcomed. We will stop there again with great pleasure, especially as there are plenty of activities to do around!

07/05/2024: Extremely long waiting time, toilets in a deplorable state, sauces with expired dates, kitchen staff without protective nets to hold back their hair, no gloves, staff who walk through the kitchen with dirty trays... no hygiene ...I clearly do not recommend...
