Everything was just amazing. From the moment we started our visit to the end, host and her daughter were great. They was so friendly and talked through the history of the place and explained the food items etc. we will definitely visit them again.

A beautiful establishment with vaulted rooms, tasteful decor, and a warm atmosphere. The welcome was attentive and professional, as was the service. The menu, though concise, focuses on regional specialties and local produce. The reasonably priced set menu offers excellent choices and compositions from amuse-bouche to starter, main course, and dessert. A truly wonderful experience and a place to recommend and discover.

Boulevard 21 was one of the more disappointing dining experiences of our trip, largely because the attitude and execution were completely out of proportion with what the restaurant actually delivers. I made the reservation nearly two months in advance and specifically requested the Vault Room. That request was apparently meaningless, because we were seated at a table looking directly into the kitchen. Not exactly the experience I had planned that far ahead for. The staff were mostly professional, but there was an unmistakable air of arrogance throughout the evening — the kind of service that makes you feel as though the restaurant is doing you a favor by allowing you to dine there. The attitude might be easier to understand if the experience matched it. It did not. The food was good. That is about as enthusiastic as I can be. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable either. Certainly nothing that justified the self-importance surrounding the place. Then came the 40+ minute wait between our entrée and the main course. At that point, the gap between the restaurant’s apparent opinion of itself and the actual level of service became almost comical. There are restaurants with two Michelin stars that manage to provide extraordinary food while still making their guests feel genuinely welcome. Boulevard 21 somehow managed the opposite: considerable attitude, ordinary food, and painfully slow service. A restaurant can survive an imperfect dish or a difficult evening. Arrogance is much harder to excuse. I would not return, and I certainly would not recommend it.

A very pretty setting in a vaulted cellar, excellent dishes with a beautiful and extensive wine list. Very good, attentive service; we had a very pleasant evening.

We chose the four-course menu and trusted the manager's recommendation, requesting a glass of wine to complement each course. We thus tasted Grenon Bourgogne. We thoroughly enjoyed the eggs meurette, the beef cheek was a delight, the jus and sauces were excellent, and the gingerbread French toast was a pleasant surprise. Our dog was welcomed without any problem. We highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return.

Excellent experience, incredible setting. The service was perfect, discreet, and professional. Whether on vacation or for a special occasion, this is the place that will create a "wow" effect.

First of all, what a delight this vaulted cellar was in the middle of a heatwave! It really whetted my appetite, which is just as well, given how refined and delicious the cuisine is. Each dish pays homage to local specialties—snails, beef bourguignon, Époisses cheese—but with a touch of originality. Special mention goes to our waiter who won my husband over with his homemade iced tea with pear and elderflower. If you're ever in Beaune, a visit is a must!

A truly memorable experience! During a weekend in Beaune with 16 friends, dinner at 21 Boulevard was meant to be the highlight of our trip. The experience far exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely perfect: from the warm welcome and meticulous attention to detail, to the impeccable timing and expert advice. Even the bill was a pleasant surprise given the quality of the service. A must-visit restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend!
