Benaton lost its star, but chef Keishi Sugimura is determined to win it back with Kirameki, and he has every chance of succeeding. The menu features primarily local ingredients, enhanced by Japanese techniques, which can be admired if you dine at the counter. The highlight of the evening: Arctic char is already a rare treat outside of lake regions, but lightly smoked like this, it's truly unique, perfectly complemented by the freshness of a cucumber gazpacho. The Wagyu ribeye with wine and blackcurrant sauce was also remarkable. And be sure to choose the option with sushi.

We came as a couple to discover Chef Keishi's new restaurant, and we were absolutely delighted with our evening! In this new setting, the dishes followed one another, each more delicious than the last (with a special mention for the Wagyu beef 🤩), in a relaxing Japanese atmosphere. We highly recommend you come back and discover this new culinary hotspot in Beaune for yourselves.

We had dinner at Kirameki, formerly Benaton, and what a delightful surprise! The restaurant's renovation is a real success, with an even more immersive concept since the chefs now cook right in front of the guests. We had an absolutely wonderful meal: the dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and showcased high-quality ingredients. Watching the kitchen in action adds a special dimension to the experience and demonstrates the expertise of the entire team. A huge congratulations to the chefs for this magnificent moment of shared culinary delight. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant!

23/08/2026: Unwelcoming reception. Unwelcoming restaurant. Too small a menu (3-3-3), resulting in very limited choices. Expensive and small portions. Everything is charged extra: main course + side. Nothing superfluous on the plate, not even a single vegetable. The presentation is attractive, the food is good, but nothing more. This is not a place we will return to.
11/08/2026: A wonderful experience in a truly bistro atmosphere. The cuisine lives up to the legacy of a great French chef. Thank you.
