Simply excellent! A very nice address both for the fantastic selection of wines and the quality of the dishes served. The snails are meaty and the entrecôte is tender as can be. We had a great time with friends. Thank you to your team for this great time

[Review of Burgundy Beaune restaurant, Ma Cuisine] On the first day after arriving in Bonn, Burgundy, I attended a wine meeting. I came all the way to France, but my wife and I felt like it would be too biased towards our tastes to drink together, so we looked for a group, and fortunately, there were people with matching schedules, so we joined. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who sat down with me. ⠀ The restaurant I went to with the people I met for the first time was called Makujin. I had high expectations because everyone who has been to Bonn recommended this place, but as it turned out, it was the only restaurant I went to twice during my trip to France. However, it is not because the wine list is as good as I had heard, but because it is the only place in Bonn where Allvin was wiped out that has a good list. The price of the wine was cheaper than the searcher's average price, but as expected, the all-bin was dry, so I had no choice but to focus on Young-bin, and perhaps because of that, I was not impressed by the wine. It's all too hard and the scent can't be released, so it just feels frustrating. I would say that only Fuso Village was somewhat plausible. ⠀ But what had a greater impact than the wine was the aura emanating from the interior of this restaurant. Empty bottles from top Burgundy producers such as DRC, Fusso, Rize, and Gölsch were displayed indifferently throughout the restaurant. The decoration was so outrageous that people who knew the prices would undoubtedly ask, 'How much is all this??' In particular, when I asked the owner about the reason why one wall was filled with Montrachet 95 vintage, he said that he had collected all the Montrachet 95 at Macuzin and tasted it. Producers also attended and told people to pour and drink, and they drank it spicyly. Seeing the owner recalling the scene, saying, 'It was a really great night...', I was surrounded by wines that I thought I could drink at least once in my life. Pour me too. Excellente cuisine du terroir, produits simples et bien travaillés ! Une très belle carte des vins de Bourgogne, très variée avec de belles allocations ! A absolument faire si vous passez à Beaune !

Ma Cuisine is a fantastic small restaurant just off the main square in the old part of Beaune. We just happened upon it without planning, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Luckily for us, we were invited in even without a reservation and treated to a delicious meal. My wife had the foie gras poelle followed by duck confit and I had a vegetarian mushroom soup followed by an excellent cheese omelette, all washed down with a most excellent local red wine. The service was absolutely excellent and even though the staff were extremely busy, they did not rush us at all. Even though we got lucky, I strongly recommend making a reservation - your taste buds deserve this restaurant.
