After tasting Egiaetgia wine at the cellar, we stopped for lunch. A generous portion of prawns (6) and an excellent fish soup (rivaling the best bouillabaisse in Marseille) followed by substantial desserts. The service was quick and efficient. A peaceful atmosphere on the Socoa harbor.

Delicious seafood platter for a special occasion. The only downside was the service; it was very busy and they forgot about us.

A wonderful family meal on the terrace during a heavy downpour. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood platter, the mixed fish salad, the delicious fish soup, and the grilled octopus was also excellent.

We went twice over two weeks to eat the Spanish-style hake, which was absolutely delicious. The welcome was very warm and the setting very pleasant. A big thank you to the chef and his team!

Still as delicious as ever, superb dishes! I highly recommend it, but it's best to reserve a table as it's a very popular restaurant. Last visit April 2025 and it's still just as delicious. The fish and shellfish parillada royale is superb, a must-try, generous portions, and delicious. And to top it all off, a wonderful welcome, friendly and attentive staff, and a great sense of humor too! My rating remains unchanged in July 2025, even confirmed with other excellent dishes. And having tried another restaurant the day after my visit, I can confirm that this restaurant remains top-notch in terms of both taste and price.

The royal parillada to share (for 2) is extraordinary, with a beautiful lobster, 4 large prawns, 4 large langoustines, 2 fish fillets, Padrón cheese, new potatoes, 2 pieces of piquillo pepper, confit garlic, 2 lemon wedges, a succulent cooking sauce... and perfectly cooked, very well accompanied by a white wine from the Egiategia region. The dessert selection is more ordinary (no pastry-style cakes) but acceptable. The service is adequate... The only real drawback is that the oilcloth tablecloths are very sticky, like at our grandmothers' farmhouses... a shame when the bill for 2 is 143 euros... They will have to change them for the evening to be a complete success.

A wonderful discovery! My wife, our daughter, and I had a fantastic time at this superb restaurant located on the port, overlooking the bay and the Sokoa fort. The setting is magnificent, and you immediately feel the essence of seafood cuisine. We chose the Parillada Royale 👑, a real treat 🍽️, and then finished with sheep's cheese and a Basque pistachio cake: everything was excellent! A big thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, kindness, and attentiveness throughout the meal. Congratulations to the two owners for creating such a beautiful place, where you find both quality on the plate, attentive service, and this magnificent atmosphere overlooking the ocean. Succulent seafood dishes on the harbor at Saint Jean de Luz! The restaurant is packed with people, but it is easy to understand why. The bouillabaise was thick and flavorful; the monkfish was a huge portion and perfectly seasoned. Great restaurant!
