A warm welcome; we opted for the raciones (small plates), which were homemade and fresh. We enjoyed this break near the fort.

Socowa is a must-try, and we sometimes drive all the way from Bordeaux just for the pleasure of having lunch here. Everything is delicious, and they're so friendly. This time I had the grilled anchovies and tried the Thai tartare, which was bursting with flavor. In short, we had a wonderful meal, as always!

Friendly welcome, very good local dishes. Reservations are practically essential. I would have given it 5 stars if the desserts had been up to par. The chocolate fondant was overcooked and lacked caramel. The sheep's milk curd was made with industrial honey.
