Arrantzaleak sur Ciboure

A wonderful find on the edge of the estuary at Ciboure. If you love your sea food, this is the local, must see and experience place. Regionally focussed with its excellent range of choices. Excellent wine list and exceptionally attentive staff. Rustic interior with river views.

Fast and pleasant service The fish is good and served with good accompaniments

We were at Arrantzaleak with our friends yesterday and had a lot of fun. Good service paired with great food at a reasonable price with a water view. Heart, what more could you want and thanks to the Arrantzaleak team

Great experience in this very nice restaurant. Fish or meat, you will not be disappointed. Everything was good, both the plate and the service. Lovely family/friends evening with children.

We discovered this restaurant near the hotel by chance on a rainy evening! Very good welcome and service and a big congratulations to the cook! The dishes are delicious and the presentation absolutely perfect! From the outside it looks more like a canteen, but the food deserves a star. Cod studded with chorizo, small new potatoes, octopus and risotto, sheep's milk cream, everything perfect!

Restaurant highly recommended by an office colleague, so I went there with my wife, my sister and her husband. And frankly, we were delighted. This restaurant doesn't look like much, found on the banks of the Nivelle on the Ciboure side and is renowned for its fish cooked over a wood fire. We started the ball with sardines and shrimp to share. It was a treat! Never had such good sardines. Then we continued with 2 turbos, a fillet of St Pierre and crayfish. Special mentions with congratulations from the jury for the turbo and the crayfish. We then had desserts but it was too much and we were not able to appreciate them at their true value. Just maybe say that the ice creams are not necessarily the best, but we don't come there for that. The wine was also very good although advice would have been welcome. In short, a real discovery and we will come back because we had a great time. Thank you and keep it up

Excellent restaurant, regional products, very friendly and pleasant staff. Not to be missed.

Easy to book. Lovely setting just up the river from the port of St Jean de Luz. All the food was good and the service friendly. Fish is clearly their thing and whereas the steak is OK not as good as the fish. Steak is slightly underdone vs normal. Good local wine list.
